✝️Honouring Our Blessed Mother: Annual Crowning of Mary ✝️

On Sunday, May 17, 2026, two 4th Degree Honour Guards from our Assembly, SK Alberto Nisperos (District Marshal) and SK Wilfredo Sinconegue, participated in the annual Crowning of Mary at St. Bernadette Parish in Surrey.

Our Assembly has been honoured to support this beautiful Marian devotion each year since 2022. The rosary procession took place within the church grounds, stopping at five stations where the faithful prayed each decade of the Holy Rosary before returning to the church for the crowning ceremony.

It was a prayerful afternoon dedicated to honouring our Blessed Mother through faith, devotion, and unity in prayer.

✝️Honour Guards Serve at Mass for Life in Ladner✝️

On Thursday, May 14, Honour Guards from several Greater Vancouver Assemblies gathered at Sacred Heart Parish in Ladner for this year’s Mass for the March for Life in Victoria.

Pilgrims from many parishes arrived by bus for the 9:15 AM Mass before proceeding together to the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal on their journey to Victoria in support of the dignity and sanctity of life.

A total of 12 Honour Guards participated in this important Knights of Columbus BC & Yukon event, including two members from our Assembly: SK Alberto Nisperos, District Marshal, and SK Happy Tay, Faithful Navigator. Also in attendance were District Master SK Ronnie Caballero, District Marshal SK Mark Pan, Past State Deputy SK Michael Yeo, together with Honour Guards from St. Mary Vancouver and Our Lady of Mercy Burnaby.

Thank you to all Sir Knights who faithfully represented the Order with dignity, unity, and devotion.

✝️Honour Guards Serve at State Convention Closing Mass✝️

This morning at 8:00 AM, the Knights of Columbus State Convention concluded with a reverent Closing Mass, bringing together clergy and Sir Knights in prayer and thanksgiving.

A total of 12 Honour Guards served at the Mass, including two from our Assembly—SK Alberto Nisperos (District Marshal) and SK George Po (Color Corps Commander). They were joined by District Master SK Ronnie Caballero, one District Marshal, and eight Honour Guards from various British Columbia Assemblies.

The Mass was officiated by Bishop Joseph Nguyen, Bishop of Kamloops, and co-celebrated by our State Chaplain, Bishop Michael Kwiatkowski, and Rev. Fr. Vincent Hawkswell.

Their presence added dignity and solemnity to the closing of a meaningful and faith-filled State Convention.

✨Honour Guards Add Dignity to State Convention Banquet Evening ✨

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, our Assembly was once again proudly represented at the Knights of Columbus State Convention Banquet Dinner, held at 7:00 PM at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel.

Three of our Honour Guards—SK Alberto Nisperos (District Marshal), SK George Po (Color Corps Commander), and SK Happy Tay (Faithful Navigator)—joined fellow Sir Knights, including three District Marshals and six Honour Guards from various British Columbia Assemblies, in supporting this special evening.

Adding a unique and memorable touch to the banquet was the presence of a Scottish bagpiper, dressed in traditional attire, whose performance brought a sense of ceremony and celebration to the occasion.

Thank you to all Sir Knights who contributed to the success and spirit of this wonderful evening.

✝️ Honour Guards Serve at Necrological Mass during State Convention ✝️

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, our Assembly was honored to be represented at the Knights of Columbus Annual State Convention, held at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel.

Three of our Honour Guards—SK Alberto Nisperos (District Marshal), SK George Po (Color Corps Commander), and SK Wilfredo Sinconeque—were present to serve at the Necrological Mass, officiated by our State Chaplain, Bishop Michael Kwiatkowki.

At 8:00 AM, a total of 20 Honour Guards stood together in solemn tribute, including our three members, District Master SK Ronnie Caballero, three District Marshals, and 13 Honour Guards from various Assemblies across British Columbia.

Their presence brought dignity and reverence to this meaningful Mass, as we remembered and prayed for our departed Sir Knights. Thank you to all who served with devotion and unity.

Honour Guards Serve with Distinction at State Convention Opening Mass

Today, Friday, April 24, 2026, members of our Assembly proudly took part in the Knights of Columbus Annual State Convention, held at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel.

Our Honour Guards - SK Alberto (District Marshal), SK George (Colour Corps Commander), and SK Happy (Faithful Navigator) - joined fellow Sir Knights at 3:00 PM to officiate the Opening Mass with dignity and reverence.

A total of 14 Honour Guards were present, including 3 from our Assembly, along with FDM Ronnie Caballero, 3 District Marshals, and 7 Honour Guards from the Vancouver and Surrey Assemblies. Together, they formed a strong and unified Color Corps in service to the Church and Order.

We thank all participating Sir Knights for their commitment and proud representation of the Patriotic Degree.

✝️ A Solemn Farewell: Honour Guard Pays Tribute to Sister Arlyne Lomotan ✝️

Sir Knights from our Assembly, SK Alberto Nisperos (District Marshall), SK George Po (Color Corp Commander), SK Happy Tay (Faithful Navigator), SK Ben M Santos, SK Tony Rodriguez and SK Kirk Weale attended Canadian Martyrs Parish on March 26, 2026, to honor the memory of Sister Arlyne Lomotan, beloved mother of our Honour Guard pillar, SK W***y Sinconegue.

During the Vigil Prayer and Funeral Mass led by Fr. Anthony Ho, the Honour Guards carried out their duties with dignity and reverence, escorting the clergy, accompanying the casket and family, and forming a respectful presence throughout the ceremony.

Following the Mass, the Honour Guard solemnly escorted Fr. Ho, the casket, and the family to the funeral vehicle, standing at attention with swords raised in a final tribute of respect and fraternity.

🌟St. Andrew Kim Parish 50th Anniversary🌟

On March 22, 2026, Sir Knights from our Assembly were honored to serve as Honour Guards at the 50th Anniversary Mass of St. Andrew Kim Parish, celebrated by Archbishop Richard Smith.

Six of our Sir Knights, namely: SK Alberto Nisperos (District Marshall), SK George Po (Color Corp Commander), SK Happy Tay (Faithful Navigator), SK Ben M Santos, SK Wilfredo Sinconegue and SK Kirk Weale were joined by eight Honour Guards from John Bosco Assembly 3120, under the leadership of Grand Knight SK Bob Han of St. Andrew Council 1141, whose dedicated coordination contributed meaningfully to this joyful celebration.

✝️Honoring SK Saluzinho “Sal” Rocha✝️

On the morning of March 19, 2026, our District Marshal SK Alberto Nisperos and Color Corps Commander SK George Po joined fellow Honour Guards from across the Lower Mainland at the Funeral Mass of SK Saluzinho “Sal” Rocha at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, Surrey.

SK Sal, aged 85, was a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, a devoted Sir Knight and Past Grand Knight of Don Bosco Council 4767, exemplifying the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism.

A total of seven Honour Guards were present, including State Deputy SK Ed Nacar and District Master SK Ronnie Caballero, along with three Brother Sir Knights from St. Mary’s Vancouver, united in paying our final respects.

🌹 Silver Rose Devotion 🌹

On Tuesday, Feb 17 at 7 PM, our Assembly took part in the Silver Rose Prayer Service in honour of Our Lady of Guadalupe and her 1531 apparition to Juan Diego.

With very short notice, District Marshal SK Alberto and Color Guard Commander SK George stepped forward to represent our Honour Guards. Our Honour SK Ben proclaimed the readings and led the prayers beautifully.

This marks our 4th consecutive year (since 2023) supporting the Silver Rose program.

🌟100th Anniversary Mass of the CWL Vancouver Diocesan Council🌟

On Saturday, November 29, 2025, the Vancouver Diocesan Council of the Catholic Women’s League of Canada celebrated their 100th Anniversary Mass at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Cathedral, with His Grace Archbishop Smith as the celebrant.

Our Assembly was honoured to have four Sir Knights serving as part of the Honour Guard: SK Alberto Nisperos (District Marshall), SK George Po (Color Corps Commander), SK Happy Tay (Faithful Navigator), and SK Ben Santos, joining fellow Honour Guards from across other districts in support of this milestone celebration.

Congratulations to the CWL Vancouver Diocesan Council on 100 years of faith, service, and leadership! 💙✨
