The Church of Pentecost Canada is a branch of The Church of Pentecost International, which has its general headquarters in Accra, Ghana, West Africa and traces its origin to 1937 when the English missionary, Rev. James McKeown, began his ministry in the then Gold Coast (now Ghana). Presently, The Church of Pentecost International is active in over 84 countries across all continents with over 2.1 million members and 15, 805 Assemblies (Local Churches) worldwide.
