Such a beautiful Saturday morning with SC Women.
Theme was “Beauty from Ashes” and probably not a dry eye in the room as we heard some powerful testimonies of God’s incredible transformations.❤️🙏🏻🛡️⚔️

Next event is the Sonrise Christmas Womens Gala November 23, 6-8 pm at the Maple Ridge location.

🎉September’s fall kick-off was celebrated with a delicious full hot breakfast, gifts for everyone, welcome gifts for the 5 new attendees and an impactful discussion on Self-care for the Christian Woman 🥰

Strategies around dedicating time for our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being were shared: including taking care of the body as a temple of the Holy Spirit through healthy eating & rest, fostering healthy relationships & practicing boundaries, finding purpose in our lives and ways to find gratitude for the small things in life.
The responses from the women who attended were very positive yesterday and we continued to hear testimonies even this morning at church.
The best stories I heard were those told to me about sharing the info they heard with other women who desperately needed to be encouraged in this area. Praise God!

Well “that’s all folks”… our last event of the season was a great success!🥰
And thank you to our incredible leadership team for all you do and the love that you pour into these women 💐

Today we celebrated all the mamas (or just because you’re a woman 😀) with long stem roses… gifted our eight new guests with their choice of handmade soap, water bottle, or keychain and enjoyed a fabulous spread of food!

Sharing the info about H2HC (Heels to Halo Canada ministry) was a special presentation that we wanted to do today. Their founder Dolores (our own from Sonrise) presented via video from North Carolina & all ladies in the room were inspired to learn more. Doris & Marcie answered many questions.

As a group today, we wrote special ‘love letters’ which will be going into the bags to the women in the strip clubs that they outreach to.
Beautiful words, written with such compassion, love, and understanding in every stroke.  We pray that each letter goes to the woman that it’s supposed to go to…God knows. 💕🙏🏻

So have a fantastic summer SC Women & we’ll see you in September for our big fall kick-off!! 💐
