The Global Week of Prayer starts today, and there is room for you!
In-person prayer at Sonrise Surrey runs:
Monday at 7:00pm
Tuesday at 6:00am
Wednesday at 12:00pm
and Friday at 7:00am in the Fireside Room.

Join us at Sonrise Church Maple Ridge Thursday at 6:00am.

The Parents Lounge at Surrey is open 24/7 all week for booked prayer slots. Prefer to join from home? Daily online prayer calls run Monday to Friday at 8:00am. Come for an hour or come every day, and let's declare together that Jesus is Lord.

SC YTH is kicking off the fall season, and you are invited. Join us Wednesday, September 16th from 6:33pm to 9:00pm at Sonrise Surrey for a night you will not want to miss. The evening features a live performance by BXUNDLESS, a testimony, and a whole lot more: games, giveaways, a photobooth, a donut wall, and a nacho bar. It's free, and all students are welcome.

We are closing in on the finish line! As of this week, our Legacy Through Leaders campaign has raised $135,595, and thanks to a generous $100,000 matching gift, we are only about $58,000 from our $250,000 goal. Legacy Through Leaders is building an endowment that will train and send leaders from Sonrise for generations. Raised once, working forever.

From Sunday, September 6th to Sunday, September 13th, we are joining the Global Week of Prayer with believers across Canada and around the world, united around this year's theme, At the Name of Jesus.

There are many ways to take part all week. Gather in person in the Surrey Fireside Room, join the daily online prayer calls, or sign up for an hour in our 24/7 prayer room in the Parents Lounge and help keep prayer going night and day.

Prayer is the foundation of everything we do. Come and seek God with us.

Stay after the service for the Legacy Through Leaders BBQ Fundraiser, where we will be serving up delicious BBQ and making space to connect with one another. Bring a friend, invite your household, and enjoy a meal that does some good.

Every August we welcome over 2,000 people for a free day of backpacks and supply kits, kids’ haircuts, a pop-up clothing shop, hot lunch, games and a whole lot of fun. No registration, no cost.

Want to volunteer?? shifts run between 7:30am and 2pm, and there’s a spot for just about everyone: check-in, backpack distribution, clothing shop, kids’ zone, face painting, food, parking, setup and teardown. We’re also always short on hairdressers and barbers, so if you know any, please send them our way. And we’re looking for Arabic, Farsi, Punjabi and Russian translators.

Together, we’ll focus on hope, healing, and practical tools for moving forward in a safe, confidential environment.
