Big Thanks to The Honest to Goodness Farm Company, our beekeeper Carolyn for our first open hive last Saturday! We spent an hour with our memorial hive sponsors and got to know the bees on a whole new level. Thanks to everyone who came out!

Our hearts are heavy today with the news of the Lapu Lapu festival in Vancouver. We send our thoughts, prayers and condolences to the families affected by this tragedy and to the greater Filipino Community. Senseless and cowardly violence on innocents- how deeply saddening. 😔

September at Heritage Gardens means it’s time for our annual honey pour! 🍯 A huge thank you to all of our 21 sponsors, families and members of the community who participated this year. Our busy worker bees produced 465 lbs. of honey from our 16 hives, which will be distributed amongst our sponsors and the families we serve. Special thanks to Carolyn from The Honest to Goodness Farm Company for making it all possible. 🐝
