As we head into the fall, we are inviting you to pray with us for an amazing season of ministry. While we are calling this a fast, the most important part of the invitation is to pray! The fasting is one aspect of the spiritual discipline. So, if you want to fast with us from 6 AM to 6 PM on Friday and Saturday this week that would be amazing. We will wrap up the prayer focus and fast on Sunday with a service of prayer and worship! If you can't do that, please pray along. We are hoping to see great connections develop within the church and through our witness, we want to be creative as we approach ministry - not stuck in our old ways, and we want to see our commitment to Christ and his church to grow. Please pray with us.

Join us this Sunday for worship. We have a guest speaker from Trinity Western University speaking this week. Winnie Lui will be preaching on the idea of hope in the Lord in the middle of the journey. She will be using Habakkuk 3:17-19

Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.

19 The Sovereign Lord is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to tread on the heights.

This Sunday, Pastor Eric Hedberg from Emmanuel Covenant Church in South Surrey will be at Green Timbers to preach on John 14:1-6. Pastor Andy will be preaching at Emmanuel on the same text. PULPIT SWAP!! Join us for worship!

This Sunday we will have Brad Kinnie from Journney Home Community preaching at our service. JHC is a Cjhristian organization serving refugee claimants in the Vancouver area. We have worked with Journey Home over the years including sponsoring a family through their ministry.

August 16th "Pulpit Swap" Pastor Andy will be preaching at Emmanuel Covenant Church in South Surrey and Pastor Eric Hedberg will preach at GTCC!! We will each be preaching on John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." This is part of Emmanuel's summer series where they have five different people speak on the same text! John 14:6 is their text for 2026.
