Our presenters — Dr. Nesrine Mostafa and Logy Shahin — guided participants through practical topics, including:

On‑site support for CDCP registration

Children enjoyed a separate interactive oral‑health education activity designed to make learning fun and memorable.

On January 29th some of our board directors had the honour of attending Islamic Relief's special dinner to showcase the impact of their work abroad, specifically in Syria. This invite-only event provided us with insight on the unique challenges associated with delivering aid in the area, and how important it is for us to continue to support these efforts. Jazakumullahu Khairan to the IRC team in BC for this incredibly meaningful and beneficial evening!

M***i Mohammed Wasim Khan was born in Dallas, Texas, and began his journey of Islamic learning at a young age—one that eventually took him across four continents in pursuit of sacred knowledge. He studied at renowned institutions including Darul Uloom Zakariyya and Jami’atul ‘Ilm Wal-Huda, specializing in Qur’ān, Tafsīr, Hadīth, Fiqh, and more.

Known for his engaging and practical approach, M***i Wasim connects classical Islamic scholarship with real-life challenges facing today’s youth. He regularly speaks at conferences, workshops, and youth programs around the world, inspiring young Muslims to strengthen their faith, find purpose, and grow both spiritually and personally.
