con·gre·ga·tion
“a group of people regularly attending a particular place of worship”
It isn’t new that the western world is removing itself from formal religiosity and developing itself into an increasingly more secular culture, but the Church seems to be also. In more than one way, but one way in particular. The Church has moved online. Yes, it’s great that we can meet online and we shouldn’t take that for granted and we love that we can be together at some capacity. However, physical interaction and worshiping our Father in Heaven together and in person is absolutely vital to the health of the church and the individual. Don’t forsake the gathering. We certainly don’t need to attend church to be a good follower of Christ, but forsaking the gathering isn’t better than communing with each other. In fact, it’s actually debilitating.
