We at Redeemer's Grace Assembly are heartbroken alongside the people affected by the horrible tragedy at the Lapu-Lapu Day Event in April 26th.

As followers of Jesus Christ, we join everyone in prayer and in support especially to those who have lost loved ones and to those who are still fighting for their lives at the moment.

God, we wait for your justice and for your peace.

"When we partake in Communion, let us remember its profound significance. It is a call to look back with gratitude, proclaim the gospel with boldness, and look forward with hope. It reminds us of who we are in Christ and strengthens our faith for the journey ahead.

The new year offers a fitting parallel to this sacred act. Just as we reflect on the past, set goals for the present and anticipate the future in a new year, Communion calls us to remember, proclaim, and anticipate. Let this sacred act shape our hearts and lives, drawing us closer to Christ and one another.

May we approach the Lord's Table with reverence and joy, fully aware of its meaning and power. And as we begin this new year, may the truths of Communion guide us in living as faithful followers of Jesus, proclaiming His death until He comes."
