The Call Series : Missions in Action

- God still calls ordinary people to serve Him.
- Even when we fail, He gives us second chances.
- God is not calling perfect people, but willing hearts

The question is not whether God is calling, the question is whether we will respond?

*We are not placed by God randomly.
*You are positioned today.
*One surrendered life can change the history.
*The only book in the bible that doesn't mention God explicitly by name. His name might be hidden but He is not absent.

Grateful for the opportunity to travel from Vancouver to Kelowna, Vernon, and Mission British Columbia to gather with our brothers and sisters in Christ for a combined Lifegroup and Fellowship.

Just like Jonah was called to go where God sent him, we were reminded that obedience sometimes means stepping out, traveling, and reaching others where they are.

May we continue to say “yes” to His calling—wherever it leads

1. God often uses the unlikely person(s): the overlooked, the leftover, the reject, the weak, the misfit and the unwanted.
So even if we cannot speak well, we are shy, we can still serve God.

Bethlehem- not special, insignificant, but God chose it to be the place where Jesus our savior would be born.

David- the forgotten son, chosen by God to be anointed as the next king

2. If we only serve God in the area we are good at doing (or comfortable with), we get the glory-- Not God.

3. God delights in you. Never underestimate yourself.

4. Appreciate your physical body, and as you receive healing from any sicknesses, use it to worship and glorify God.
