God doesn't call us to put our hands to a task so that we can fail. When he calls us he wants us to follow his ways for his purposes and for his glory. So when God gives an assignment, we would do well to implement the following strategy: pray for wisdom, anticipate opposition, prepare to praise God in the hard times, and expect to enjoy God's victorious outcome. Join us this Sunday in Acts as the Gospel continues to advance!

From the very first generation of the church, Christians have always been tempted to swap out grace for works, liberty for legalism. In Acts 15, gathered as the Jerusalem Council, the Apostles and church leaders debated just such an issue and the outcome of their deliberation is one of the most pivotal moments in church history. Thankfully, the essential belief of "salvation by grace in Jesus alone" won the day and continues to afford Christians today a life of Spirit-guided liberty and love. Join us this Sunday @10 as we "Focus on the Essentials." Come prepared as well to partake at the Lord's Table as we celebrate Jesus, our Lord and Saviour full of truth and grace.

Just a friendly reminder that there will NOT be a service this Sunday at our Surrey location as we will be having it at camp on Saturday Evening.

We look forward to hearing from Pastor Jack Meers (a familiar face) this weekend at camp as he digs through the topic of "D.I.R.T." in our Rooted Series for this weekend.

“Opposition did not stop the mission—it accelerated it.”

This Sunday, we continue through Acts 13–14 and follow Paul and Barnabas on the first missionary journey—a path marked by miracles, resistance, persecution, and the unstoppable advance of the Gospel. From spiritual opposition to public hostility, these chapters remind us that God’s mission moves forward even through resistance, weakness, suffering, and fear.

Join us as we discover how the Holy Spirit leads and grace sustains, and why the message of Jesus is still worth proclaiming.

No matter what we are facing in life, God invites us to pray boldly into his will and believe that his sovereignty and goodness will always prevail in an answer that is for our well-being. We invite you to join us this Sunday @ 10 as we engage in the message titled, "Problems, Prayer, and Power."

We also want to recognize the moms and all the godly women role models in our congregation this Sunday.

As Jesus builds his church, the message remains the same but the methods will change. As God continues to do new things to bring his kingdom into this world, it's important that we as the church do not stand in the way of however He chooses to bring the Gospel of Jesus to whomever He chooses. Also, if you know and love this Jesus of the Gospel, come prepared to partake in communion together in remembrance of Him, the Way-maker!

God's heart and mission is for all of humanity to be in eternal relationship with him. He creates everyone beautifully different in reflection of his glorious image. Unfortunately, us humans, whom he created, are all prone to the sin of prejudice against one another for these differences. So we must come to grips with our propensity for prideful prejudice, name it, and rectify it for the glory of God. Come and listen as Pastor Wally unpacks Acts 10 for us this Sunday @ 10!

God reveals himself to us not only so we will know and experience him, but also so others will come to believe in him. When we profess Jesus as our Saviour, our unique conversion story is not about us, but rather about Jesus who uniquely revealed himself to us, called us to himself, and commissioned us to go and make more disciples in his name. Join us this Sunday at 10 AM as we ponder the story of Saul's conversion.

If you do not believe that Jesus is resurrected, then eat and drink for tomorrow you die. But if you do believe that Jesus is risen, then you will be eternally blessed because He is risen indeed! So, join us this Easter Sunday at 10 AM as we celebrate the Resurrected One. Pastor Wally will be using John 19:28–20:29 and 1 Corinthians 15 as his foundational passages for speaking on the best news ever!

Every follower of Jesus is called by our Lord and empowered by the Holy Spirit to offer people the good news of salvation. There are no exceptions to this call. We are all a part of the mission of lifting up the name of Jesus to the ends of the earth and thankfully the Bible tells us how we can do this effectively.
