Be Quiet in the Storm.

Text: Deuteronomy 31:8 NIV.

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged".

One of the most important things to do when you are going through a storm is to be quiet. This is not a time to start getting hysterical and try to fix things on your own. When we are confronted by any unpleasant situation, our eyes must be on Jesus and not the situation (Hebrews 12:2).

When the Israelites were sandwiched between the Egyptian army behind them and the Red Sea in front of them, Moses told them to be still (quiet). In Exodus 14:14 ESV, the Bible says, “The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” What happened at the Red Sea had never happened before, but God wanted His people to trust Him even in the midst of the storm. It has been said that the safest place to be during a storm, is in the eyes of the storm. But realistically, who wants to stay in a storm, and not to talk of the eyes of the storm?

Many people are struggling when it comes to the unexpected events of life, because as humans, we always want to be in control of everything around us. But trusting God means allowing God take control of your life, so He can handle what you cannot handle. God knows the end from the beginning, and when we trust Him, he will bring us through the storms of life safely. He said having done all to stand. When you have done all that you can do, it is time to stand and watch God, as he does what you cannot do. In John 16:33 NLT, “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

Personally, I like to fix things, and I know many people are like that too. We do not want any inconvenience to our family and the people we care about. But there is a thin line between being a fixer and being proud. God has not put the weight of our livelihood on us. God is mindful of us in every season and situation confronting us. This is why He is always making a way of escape for us even in difficult situations. In Mark 4:39 the Bible says, “He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, 'Quiet! Be still!' Then the wind died down and it was completely calm". Jesus calmed the storm, and He was disappointed that the disciples were faithless.

Meditate on this: In Psalm 23:4, the Bible says, “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me". The good news is whatever you are walking through or going through at the moment, God is with you as He has promised. Do not be afraid or be discouraged, because you will get to the other side of your Red Sea:

Confession:

I declare that God is with me though every challenging situation. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I will not be afraid because God has not given me the spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. As I continue to trust the Lord, He will lead me, guide me and shield me from every challenges and reveal His glory in me and through me, in Jesus name. Amen.

Handling Adversity With Grace.

Text: Romans 12:19-20 NLT.

“Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, “I will take revenge; I will pay them back,” says the LORD. Instead, “If your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals of shame on their heads.”

Taking revenge is a natural reaction for the perceived wrong done to us, but as God’s children, we are admonished to leave vengeance to God. Many have been eaten up by the desire for revenge, such that they have become an instrument of unrighteousness.

Our text says that vengeance belong to God. We must be careful not to give up on being good to people simply because we have been hurt by others. There is a Yoruba proverb (Nigerian language), that says, “If you decide to close your eyes when negative people are passing by, you will miss out on the good people as well.” God wants you to handle adversity with grace, by living your life in a way that you are able to extend forgiveness to others. David had the opportunity to kill King Saul twice, in 1 Samuel 24 & 26, but he spared him on both occasions. In 1 Samuel 26:9, the Bible says, “But David said to Abishai, “Don’t kill him! No one can lift a hand against the Lord’s anointed and go unpunished.”

When you consider how desperate Saul was in killing David, you would not expect David to spare his enemy when he had the opportunity to kill him. But it is always better to have the godly perspective of such. David went on to say in 1 Samuel 26:10-11, “As surely as the Lord lives,” David continued, “it will be the Lord who will strike him down, or his day will come and he will die, or he’ll fall in battle and be destroyed. The Lord forbid that I lift my hand against the Lord’s anointed! But go ahead and take the spear by Saul’s head and the water jug and let’s go!” He took the spear and water jug as proof. David’s action ended the chase. 1 Samuel 26:21 says, “Then Saul said, “I have sinned. Come back, David my son. Because you considered my life precious today, I will not try to harm you again. Surely I have acted like a fool and have been terribly wrong.”

When we extend the grace of God to those undeserving of it, we will allow God to defend our cause. What was meant to destroy you, will be turned around by God to lift you up. If you are consumed by the need to take revenge against those who have wronged you, you will be opening yourself up to the enemy’s onslaught. Joseph’s journey from Canaan to Egypt, through slavery and imprisonment would have been the end of his dreams, but he believed God. In Genesis 50:20 NKJV, the Bible says, “But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.”

Meditate on this: God is able to help you navigate through whatever the enemy is planning to attack you with. Whether it is offences, betrayal or lack, God is able to turn everything to your advantage. Job 22:29 NKJV says, “When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.” God has promised to lift you up, and you will never go down again in Jesus name. Amen.

Confession:

I declare that God has graced me to handle every adversity with grace. The grace of God is sufficient for me as I journey through this life. I will not be abandoned or stranded, because God is with me through every step of the way. What the enemy has set up to destroy me, God will turn it into a ladder for my lifting in Jesus name. Amen.

Navigating Life’s Journey Part 3.

Faith is a Lifestyle.

Text: Hebrews 11:6 AMP.

“But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.”

Faith is referred to as simply trusting God by saying what He said concerning whatever we are confronted with. But faith is more than an action word or what we do when we want things to work, it must be a lifestyle. From Genesis to Revelation, we can see the manifestation of faith as a force for the supernatural.

In Genesis 1:1-3, when there was chaos and void, God spoke order into the confusion, and light came from darkness. Everything God created after that was created by speaking them into existence. Faith has a voice, and it is the voice of the supernatural. Faith does not operate in the natural. It interrupts the natural and superimpose the supernatural in the natural. Don’t settle for the meagre existence the world says you can have, but lay hold on what the Word says you can have. Let the will of God prevail over your circumstances by faith.

When the Lord led the Israelites out of Egypt through Moses, and they were sandwiched between the Egyptian army behind them and the Red Sea in front of them, God told Moses to exercise his faith. Before then, He had seen enough of the supernatural in Egypt, for him to believe that God was able to do the impossible. In Exodus 14:15-16 NIV, the Bible says, “Then the LORD said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.”

We must learn how to see our problems through the eyes of faith. 2 Corinthians 4:18 says, “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” Don’t focus your attention on what you can see in this natural, physical sense realm. Everything you see is temporal and subject to change. So, put your faith in the unseen, and eternal realm. The things which are eternal are not subject to change.

Meditate on this: God’s Word is eternal and it contains over 7,000 promises to cover any circumstance you will ever face. And, no matter what happens in this shifting, changing world you live in, those promises will forever be the same. No matter how bad your body feels, the Word will always say, “By His stripes you were healed” (1 Pet. 2:24). No matter how bad your bank book looks, the Word will always say, “My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Phil. 4:19). Faith is able navigate through impossible situation and turn it around.

Confession:

In Jesus name, I have faith. I have the God kind of faith, that is able to change the natural into the supernatural. I will speak the word of God in faith, and experience the supernatural power of the word. I command every prevailing situation before me to align with the word of God spoken by me in faith. Thank you Lord because God’s word spoken by me in faith will not return to me without results in Jesus name. Amen.

Navigating Life’s Journey Part 2.

March 2nd, 2026.

The Silent Night.

Text: Psalm 30:5 NLT.

“For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.”

I grew up in a community and culture where being vulnerable was treated as a sign of weakness. One of the reasons why people do not heal from trauma is because they are made to suffer in silence. The belief that men do not cry, and when life throws lemons at you, you have to make lemonade out of them, has made many people to become ticking time bomb.

The Bible says let the weak say I am strong. But the strength here is a declaration of faith in the power of the Holy Spirit who is our strengthener. There is a limit to human endurance, and there must be a balance between what we can do and where God expects us to depend on Him. Psalm 73:26 NIV says, “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” The night is often long for those who are working through some extraordinary circumstances.

Sometimes the voice of discouragement in your head may be louder than the words of encouragement being spoken by those around you. What do you do when the night is silent and you have no answer to the challenges before you? The Bible says in Proverbs 13:12 NIV, “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.” The pains that comes to your heart when you are walking through a tough season is often excruciating, yet God is there in the midst of the darkness that is trying to swallow you up.

In Isaiah 43:1-2 ESV, the Bible says, “But now thus says the LORD, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you.” It did not say if you walk through the water or fire, it said when you walk through the water and the fire, you will neither drown nor be burned.

Meditate on this: There is a great deal of confidence and joy that comes with knowing that God is for you in whatever situation you find yourself. The night can be lonely and personal, yet God is always there. Psalm 50:15 NLT says, “Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.” Call on the Lord and rest in His unfailing love and mercy, as you navigate through the night season.

Confession:

I declare that God is with me always and I am confident in His unchanging love, mercy and presence in every situation. I rest in the finished work of Jesus Christ for me and my family. Never again, will I try to navigate through the issues of life in my own wisdom, but rather I will seek for and embrace the wisdom of God. Thank you Lord for bringing me though the long night, into the morning of peace, joy and victory in Jesus name. Amen.

Navigating Life’s Journey Part 1

March 1st, 2026.

The God of All Seasons.

Text: Daniel 2:21 NKJV.

“And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise And knowledge to those who have understanding.”

Life is lived in seasons. God created and controls the times and seasons to favour his children. When you understand that God controls the seasons, you will trust Him to take care of you. The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 3:11 NIV, “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” Life comes with issues that until we involve God, we would be crushed by them. Many people are dying daily due to fear and worry.

The antidote to all the worries of this world is trusting in the Lord with all your heart. Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV, says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” No matter where you are today in your life’s journey, you should never make a permanent decision on a temporary situation. The seasons of life is constantly changing, and nothing in life is permanent. Learning to trust God means seeing life through the eyes of faith.

Faith in God is simply depending on Him for everything. Hebrews 11:6 NIV, says, “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” There was a time that David was a shepherd boy looking after few sheep. But God saw him while he was worshiping Him in the jungle alone. In 1 Samuel 16:1 NIV, the Bible says, “The LORD said to Samuel'How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and be on your way; I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem. I have chosen one of his sons to be king.”

Meditate on this: Proverbs 19:21 ESV says, “Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand.” This is a gentle reminder that we should not plan without God. When you cultivate an intimate relationship with Him, you will settle for his plans for your life, instead of taking your plans to Him for approval. Being in alignment with God will grant you divine speed in the right direction.

Confession:

I declare that this is my season and my time to arise and shine for the glory of the Lord is manifesting in me and through me. I refuse to pursue my own path and frustrate the grace of God over my life. I will not waste my time and resources in the pursuit of vanities, but I will be totally surrendered to God and embrace his presence, discover his purpose for my life, and run hard after Him in Jesus name. Amen.

The Seeds of Forgiveness Part 28.

Shake off The Pain!

Text: Acts 28:5 NLT.

“But Paul shook off the snake into the fire and was unharmed.”

As we round up today, I have been prompted by the Holy Spirit to remind you that it is time to shake off the pains of the past and begin to run after the vision that God has given you. The enemy uses your hurts and pains to keep you stuck in the journey of life. There is so much blessings in your future than whatever you have lost in your past.

Your tomorrow is pregnant with the best that God has for you. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:9 NKJV, “But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” This is why you need to shake off the pains of the past. When you personalize your past negative experiences, it does not only change you, it can also become a stronghold for the enemy to stop you from enjoying a productive life and flourishing relationships.

Our past hurts and pains should never become the scars we carry around as victims, but the stripes that shows we have been through some tough times, and came out stronger by the grace of God. The Bible says in Psalm 30:5 NLT, “For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.” Thank God that no matter how long the night is, the morning will come. What does not kill you, will only make you stronger!

If women are to consider the inconvenience and pains of bringing children into the world, most women would only have one child, but they usually forget about the pains and instead they look forward to the opportunity to bring forth. John 16:21 NIV, says, “A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world." God is able to use your pains to create the best life possible for you.

Meditate on this: Joseph did not do anything wrong to warrant what he experienced from his brothers, to Potiphar’s wife and the prison, but he shook off all those feelings of anger and pains to fulfill his dreams. In Genesis 50:20, the Bible captured his thoughts, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.” Stop dwelling on the past, and embrace the present and the future.

Confession:

I declare that I have been set free from my past negative experiences. God has promised to do a new thing in my life, and I am grateful for the opportunity to start again without the burden of unforgiveness. I take control of my peace, joy and dreams from the enemy who has lost the battle over my life. Thank you Lord for turning everything that was meant to destroy me, into my advantage, in Jesus name. Amen.

The Seeds of Forgiveness Part 27.

Check Your Heart.

Text: 1 Samuel 16:7 NIV.

“The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart".

The heart is to the body what the CPU (Central Processing Unit) is to a computer. Your life will go in the direction of those things that your heart processes and act on. This is why the Bible commands us to guard our hearts in Proverbs 4:23, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it".

Since we process everything in our hearts, we must be careful to protect it from negativity. Luke 6:45 KJV, says, “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” In other words, what your life produces is determined by the state of your heart. We all need to check our hearts daily so as to eliminate every negative thought that may have snuck into it.

The Bible says in Matthew 15:19-20 KJV, “For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.” The heart can be a stronghold that the enemy can use to stop a child of God from receiving the best of God. When bitterness, anger, and unforgiveness takes root in the heart, they will defile it. Hebrews 12:15 NASB says, “See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many become defiled;”

The same way negative thoughts flows into the heart, good things can also flow into it. This is why the Bible encourages us in Philippians 4:8 to think on the positives; “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” You have the power to choose what you expose yourself to. Stop choosing past trauma, stop rehearsing past betrayals and offences. Allow God to heal your past and also heal your heart.

Meditate on this: The heart of a natural man is desperately wicked, but the heart of a born again person should be under the influence of the Holy Spirit, to yield to God completely. The transformation requires a submission to the word of God as the final authority (Romans 12:2).

Confession:

I declare that my heart is yielded to God and it’s transformed by His word. Each day I will intentionally surrender my will and emotions to the Holy Spirit, so that the enemy cannot manipulate me to do his bidding. Thank you Lord for giving me a heart of flesh to replace the heart of stone, in Jesus name. Amen.

The Seeds of Forgiveness Part 24.
February 24th, 2026.
Let Go and Let God!
Text: Ephesians 4:31-32 NIV.
“Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
The Word of God places great significance on how we respond toward others, especially when we've been hurt or suffer injustice. Unforgiveness will hinder our faith and prayers. Forgiveness is so important that Mark 11:25 even says if we don't forgive, neither will God forgive us our sins. Forgive by faith, and let it go!
Many are carrying baggage of hurts and regret through life, and unfortunately, it’s limiting their joy, peace and freedom in Christ (Matthew 11:18-30). Nobody deserves to hold you bound to whatever they may have done to you in the past, today or even tomorrow. When you choose to forgive, you disempower the enemy from having a continuous hold on your life and happiness. Granting forgiveness to the offender doesn’t mean that he gets away with what he has done to you, but it sets you free from the burden of unforgiveness. God expects you to be willing to let go, so He use what was meant to hurt you, to your advantage.
Sometimes, it takes more than the willingness to forgive, but through the help of the Holy Spirit. I’ve been in situations where I just couldn’t let it go on my own due to how deep the hurt was, and I had to ask for the help of the Holy Spirit time and again (Romans 5:5). God has commanded us to forgive and let go, so as to be able to step into the blessings that he has set up for us. Offence is a bait of Satan to stop us from getting the manifestation of God’s prepared blessings for us. Joseph had many reasons to stay in unforgiveness, but he chose to forgive his brothers who sold him into slavery, Mrs Potiphar who lied against him, and her husband who sent him to jail, the baker who promised to help him out of jail but forgot about him for two full years (Matthew 6:14). There may even be other people that he interacted with that were not mentioned in the Bible. But when he forgave them, God promoted him!
As I was writing this message, the Holy Spirit reminded me of the experience I had in my teenage years, how a very close family member conspired with others to discourage an uncle from helping me. My mum took it personal and she thought it was her older sister that was behind it, but she was wrong. When we finally discovered those behind it, it was even more difficult to let go. But until I let go, my life was going around in meaningless circles. I am grateful that I did not allow their hatred and envy to stop me from moving forward with my life. Jesus’s words on the cross when he asked the father not to count the sins of those who crucified him against them, is an example of how important forgiveness is to God (Colossians 3:13).
Meditate on this: When you allow the Holy Spirit to have his way in your life, by being led of the Spirit of God, you will come into your eternal blessings (Romans 8:14). God has not put your life and destiny in the hands of any man. They can plot and scheme against you, but if you will continue to honour God with your life, you will come to the expected end that God has for you in due season.
Confession:
In Jesus name, I choose to forgive by faith and let go of every past hurt. I’ll depend on the power of the Holy Spirit to forgive those who have hurt me and worked hard to put me down. God’s grace and mercies will turn around all that was designed to stop me from getting to my preordained place in God’s plan. Thank you Lord for you will continue to help me to live for you and walk in love all the days of my life in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

The Seeds of Forgiveness Part 22.

February 22nd, 2026.

Cast All Cares on God.

Text: 1 Peter 5:7 NKJV.

“casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”

The enemy is after your joy, and he will do everything to steal it from you if you will allow him to do so. One of his most potent weapons is worrying about those things that we know we should have given to the Lord to handle. The Bible says to cast all your care on the Lord because he cares for you.

The key words here are CAST, ALL and ON THE LORD. To cast is an act of throwing something forcefully. All simply means everything. In other words, we take all our worries or anxiety and put them on the Lord and leave them there. 1 Peter 5:7 AMP says, “casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]". The more we do this, the easier it is to live out our faith.

The mind is the battlefield where the enemy bombard us with negative thoughts, and if we allow these thoughts to continue without casting them on to the Lord, we risk being forced to accept them as our truth. Philippians 4:6-7 NIV, says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” If Jesus has made the sacrifice for everything that the enemy can lay claim to, then why are still carrying them around?

Psalm 61:2 NLT, says, “From the ends of the earth, I cry to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety,” We go through seasons when we feel overwhelmed by the issues of life. The residues from the setbacks, the disappointments and other negative experiences, can form a stronghold of despair that is programmed to shut down our joy. Such that instead of giving love, we release anger and bitterness. But when we totally surrender to God, there will be an exchange. Psalm 62:1 says, “Truly my soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him".

Meditate on this: God is faithful to His promises and He will do anything for His children, but we must receive by faith everything that He has given to us through the cross. We must know who and whose we are, by enforcing our victory over all the fiery darts of the enemy. Cast all your cares on the Lord, and leave them there in exchange for His joy, peace and love.

Confession:

I declare the faithfulness of God over my life and in every situation. God has set me free from the burden of worry, anxiety and fear, and He has replaced them with his peace and joy that is beyond human understanding. Every yoke of the enemy over my life is broken by the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus, whose I am and whom I serve, has given me a new life and a new name, and I am more than a conqueror in Jesus name. Amen!

Forget the Past

Text: Isaiah 43:18-19 BSB.

“Do not call to mind the former things; pay no attention to the things of old. Behold, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it? Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness and streams in the desert.”

Many are stuck on the past, because of the disappointments, the betrayal and their own mistakes, God does not perform His best deeds in your past. Do not be like a driver who is glued to his rear view mirrors, he will not be able to see what lies ahead. The past does not cancel your future!

The past was a preparation and not your destination. Those who left you after ‘using you’ are not bad people, but their part in your story is over, and God is able to bring the right people that you need for your new levels. In Revelation 21:5 NLT, the Bible says, “And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” God is faithful to His promises to bring His newness to the old things in your life.

In 2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV, the Bible says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” You cannot continue to live with the old mindset of disappointment and despair, and walk in the love of God. The old roots of bitterness, confusion and condemnation must give way to a new life of freedom, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans 5:5 says, the love of God has been poured out into our hearts by the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

I have discovered that when you live your life based on the negative experiences of your past, you will never be able to step into the new life that Jesus has paid for. The best you can be under that circumstance is an angry and bitter Christian, who is neither happy nor happy to see anyone else happy. This is why some Christians have become judgmental towards others who they think are not worthy of being loved by God. Romans 6:4 says, “We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.”

Meditate on this: There is nothing more beautiful than seeing hope rise up where there has been pains and sadness. God is able to bring the beauty out of the ashes of your disappointments and pains. Romans 8:28 NKJV, says, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Trust God through the process of becoming all that He wants you to become.

Confession:

I declare that I am a new creature in Christ Jesus, old things have passed away, and all things have become new. I am new in my life, my thoughts and my understanding of what it takes to build healthy and loving relationships. I set aside every pain, disappointment and despair from my past, and as I am healed, I will continue to walk in love and love others as God loves them, in Jesus name. Amen.
