Who We Are
Summerland United is a community of people who are trying to live our lives in the way of Jesus. For us, Jesus is a window into the heart of the Holy Mystery, which is at the centre of creation. We are theologically progressive as we challenge old assumptions and seek to understand Jesus' message in today's world. We take the bible seriously, but not literally. We are committed to socia

l justice and caring for others both in our neighbourhood and around the world. We are an open, and open-minded community that values diversity. People of every age, gender, race, sexual orientation, ability or faith background are welcome!

Dear friends, this month, as we continue to regroup and find our bearings in our town, Monday Supper will take a pause. While we would love nothing more than to offer our monthly meal to the community next week, we are aware that there are a number of challenges to preparing food for one another this soon - not the least of which is the boil water advisory. We look eagerly forward to seeing you at September 28th's community Monday Supper.
