John the Evangelist Anglican Church serves the community and surrounding area of Strathroy, ON. Honouring the liturgy and traditions of the Anglican Church, we seek to proclaim and celebrate the gospel of Jesus Christ not only in our worship, but also in our action by offering a variety of programs and services to the wider community. We offer Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and "Let's Get C

ookin'" to children and youth. We provide services to the surrounding retirement and nursing homes. We also offer a Hospitality meal once a month and support the Women's Rural Resource Center through our Paper Drive.

Calling All Crafters and Artisans

Do you knit, crochet, paint or sew? Do you create unique pieces in wood, fabric, wax, beads or paper? Do you enjoy working with stained glass, scented oils, clay or recycled fibres? Then become a vendor at our 15th annual Yuletide Marketplace here at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church in Strathroy on Saturday, November 14 from 10:00 - 2:00.

Reminder this Saturday is Strathroy’s Town Wide Yard Sale.

If you have items you would like to donate tomorrow (Friday May 23) is your last chance. Kelly and others will be organizing and starting set up at 11:30 am till all sorted. If you need to come by later or in evening please get a hold of Kelly Fleming to make arrangements.

Saturday we will open the doors bright and early and will close up about 1/2 pm (depends on crowds, weather and items left. All items are purchased by donations. These funds help the church run programs.

Come in let us wrap for you

For those looking for gift wrapping

If you don’t like wrapping, don’t want to purchase extra wrapping paper and such, stick for time…..

Bring your gifts to St St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church this Saturday 12 - 3 pm and our youth group will wrap them for you at our 3rd annual gift wrapping fundraiser. Wrapping is done by donation that the youth group will put towards future activities. You can drop off and return to pick up.
