Aug 15-22 | Join pilgrims from across the Diocese of Calgary for the annual Marian Week in the Rockies in this blessed Jubilee Year of St. Francis pilgrimage. Come for a day, a weekend, or the whole week, build your own pilgrimage at your own pace.

• 5 pm – Solemnity of the Assumption Mass (St. Mary’s, Banff) with Bishop McGrattan

Sun, Aug 16
• 9:30 am and 11:30 am - Sunday Mass
• 2 pm Concert – “The Sun, The Stars, and the Queen of Heaven: A Concert with conductor Carlos Foggin - featuring chamber choir, brass quintet, timpani, organ, chant, Scripture and Marian hymns.
• 5 pm - Sunday Mass

Mon–Fri, Aug 17–21
• 11 am – Mass (Shrine Church, Canmore)
• 12 pm – Daily Talk
• 3 pm – Divine Mercy Chaplet
• 6:30 pm – Evening Program (St. Mary’s, Banff)

Sat, Aug 22
• 11 am – Queenship of Mary Mass (Shrine Church, Canmore) with Bishop McGrattan

On June 17th, our council gathered for Holy Mass followed by our annual pin and awards ceremony. We extend a heartfelt thank you and congratulations to our newest CWL members as well as those celebrating milestone years of service! We are truly grateful for your dedication. Together, we look forward to continuing our work in supporting Parish ministries, organizing community outreach, and advocating for social justice.

Celebrating 25 years of unwavering devotion! We thank Paulette, the principal of our elementary school, and our fellow CWL sister, for pouring her heart into Sacred Heart Academy. Her impact on our students, staff, and the broader Sacred Heart Church community will be felt for generations. Happy retirement Paulette - our CWL wishes you boundless blessings in your next chapter.

Abundant graces all around! June 14th was a truly beautiful day as we gathered to thank God for the 2nd anniversary of our beautiful church's consecration, Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church - Strathmore (Roman Catholic Diocese of Calgary). We also joyfully celebrated our Pastor’s 40th birthday and wrapped up with a fantastic Parish BBQ. Thank you to Paola and Jack for bringing their friendly horse, Black Jack, and giving horse rides! We appreciate everyone who made it such a beautiful day - we are truly blessed!

A large contingent of League members from the Calgary Diocese recently attended the Blooms & Blossoms Charity Dinner in support of Elizabeth House — a transitional home that provides sanctuary, community, and hope for pregnant women and mothers experiencing housing instability.

Elizabeth House walks alongside women as they work toward their personal goals, while fostering resilience, leadership, and self-confidence.

The evening was especially moving; a former resident shared her heartfelt testimony, touching everyone in attendance and bringing many to tears.
