How has CR helped you?
"When I started coming to CR, I was broken. Broken in my relationship with Jesus and in my marriage. Through CR I have developed a community of women who have helped me restore my relationship with Jesus. I walked in the door broken and walked out feeling whole again. I wish I would have come sooner."

We meet every Monday night. Doors open at 6:10 for fellowship, coffee, and snacks. Worship/large group starts at 6:30. Small groups start at 7:30.

β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή WHAT ARE HURTS, HANG-UPS & HABITS?

If you've ever thought, β€œCelebrate Recovery isn't for me because I don't struggle with drugs or alcohol,” we want you to know something:

Celebrate Recovery is about so much more.

We all have areas of our lives that need the healing, hope, and freedom only Jesus Christ can provide.

πŸ’” HURTS can be the pain we carry from what has happened to us: grief, rejection, betrayal, abandonment, loss, abuse, broken relationships, disappointment, or other painful experiences.

⛓️ HANG-UPS can be unhealthy attitudes or patterns that keep us stuck in anger, fear, anxiety, resentment, pride, codependency, people-pleasing, control, unforgiveness, or insecurity.

πŸ”„ HABITS can be behaviors we've turned to repeatedly, sometimes trying to escape or cope with our pain, that ultimately keep us from experiencing the life God desires for us.

But here's the good news:

Your hurt doesn't have to define you.
Your hang-up doesn't have to control you.
Your habit doesn't have to have the final word.

Jesus Christ does. ✝️

Throughout our Forever Family, we're watching people discover that change is possible. Not because we've figured everything out, but because we're learning to surrender, take the next right step, walk alongside one another, and allow Jesus Christ to lead the way.

πŸ“– β€œSo if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” β€” John 8:36 NIV

Maybe you've watched someone you love experience freedom through Celebrate Recovery.

Maybe CR has already changed your life.

Or maybe you're reading this wondering if there's hope for you too.

Come experience what so many of us have experienced: a safe place to get honest, a Forever Family to walk alongside you, and most importantly, a relationship with Jesus Christ, the One who brings true hope and freedom. πŸ™Œ

You don't have to clean yourself up first.
You don't have to have all the answers.
You don't have to face life's struggles alone.

Come as you are. β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή OUR MISSION IS SIMPLE: HELP PEOPLE FIND FREEDOM.

Celebrate Recovery exists to help people find freedom and healing from their hurts, hang-ups, and habits through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

And you don't have to have everything figured out before you walk through the doors.

Come as you are.

Celebrate Recovery is a place where we can get honest about what's happening in our lives without judgment, experience God's grace, and walk alongside a Forever Family that understands none of us were meant to do life alone.

But CR is also about so much more than attending a weekly meeting.

πŸ™Œ Celebrate Recovery is a discipleship ministry.

We're learning what it means to follow Jesus, surrender our lives to Him, grow spiritually, and let Him transform how we live.

🀝 Celebrate Recovery is a community engagement ministry.

We don't want to keep the hope we've found inside the walls of our churches. We want to carry Jesus' love and hope into our families, churches, neighborhoods, prisons, workplaces, and communities.

πŸ”₯ Celebrate Recovery is a leadership factory.

People walk through the doors looking for help and, over time, God can use their healing and testimony to help someone else.

The person sitting quietly in their first meeting today may become a sponsor tomorrow.

The person beginning a Step Study may someday lead one.

The person who once believed their story was filled with too much brokenness may discover that God can use that very story to introduce someone else to Jesus.

That's discipleship. That's community. That's recovery.

But none of it happens because of us.

We can't do this without Jesus Christ leading the way. ✝️

πŸ“– β€œThen you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” β€” John 8:32 NIV

So whether you're taking your first step or helping someone else take theirs, you have a place here.

Come as you are.
Find your Forever Family.
Experience freedom.
Grow as a disciple.
Help someone else discover hope.

And through it all…

β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή Jesus Christ leads the way.

β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή FOREVER FAMILY, HERE’S AN IMPORTANT REMINDER: KEEP COMING BACK!

Whether you're attending your very first Celebrate Recovery meeting or you've been part of our Forever Family for years, recovery is a journey and every step matters.

Some weeks you'll walk through the doors celebrating a victory. πŸ™Œ

Other weeks, just walking through those doors is the victory.

There may be days when you're tired. Days when your hurt feels heavy. Days when that old hang-up shows back up. Days when you're tempted to return to an old habit.

Keep coming back.

Keep showing up.
Keep working the principles.
Keep connecting with your sponsor and accountability team.
Keep sharing honestly.
Keep serving.
Keep praying.
And most importantly, keep allowing Jesus Christ to lead the way. ✝️

Recovery isn't about perfection. It's about progress, surrender, and taking the next right step with Jesus.

And please remember this:

❀️ You are worth it.
❀️ You matter.
❀️ Your story matters.
❀️ You are a child of God.
❀️ You don't have to do this alone.

πŸ“– β€œBut as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.” β€” 2 Chronicles 15:7 NIV

We're so glad you're part of this Forever Family community.

And if you haven't walked through the doors of Celebrate Recovery yet, maybe this is your invitation.

Come as you are.
There's a seat waiting for you.

πŸ’œ INTERNATIONAL OVERDOSE AWARENESS DAY

Today, August 31, Celebrate Recovery Global joins people around the world in remembering those whose lives have been lost to overdose and praying for the families and friends carrying that grief.

Behind every statistic is a person.

A son. A daughter. A parent. A spouse. A sibling. A friend. Someone’s Forever Family.

Every life matters. Every loss counts. πŸ’œ

Celebrate Recovery is committed to being part of the solution. Our Opioid Ministry Team, led by Opioid Director Nick Olson, works to increase awareness, education, prevention, and resources surrounding opioid addiction and overdose.

Through the Opioid Advocates, we’re helping communities understand that recovery is possible and lives can be saved.

Carry naloxone/Narcan when appropriate. Learn the signs of an overdose. Have the difficult conversations. Help remove the stigma that keeps people from reaching out for help.

And remind someone today:

Your life has value.
Your story isn't over.
There is hope. β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

πŸ“– β€œThe Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” β€” Psalm 34:18 NIV

πŸ™ Jesus, we remember every life lost to overdose and pray for every family carrying that grief. Protect those still struggling and give them courage to reach for help. Help us respond with compassion instead of judgment and use us to bring hope to those who need it most. Amen.

πŸ’œ EVERY LIFE MATTERS. EVERY LOSS COUNTS. RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE.

πŸ’” Grief can be one of the toughest hurts we will ever face.

Sometimes loss is expected. Sometimes it comes without warning and changes everything in an instant. Either way, grief can leave us carrying sadness, anger, confusion, loneliness, and questions we may never have answers to.

But here is something we want you to remember:

You don't have to walk through grief alone.

πŸ“’ Celebrate Recovery isn't just for drugs and alcohol. It's for anyone struggling with a hurt, hang-up, or habit, and grief and loss can be some of the deepest hurts we carry.

🌍 COMMUNITY IS WHERE HEALING HAPPENS

When we're hurting, it can be tempting to isolate ourselves. We may tell everyone we're okay when we're not. We may try to stay busy, push the feelings down, or convince ourselves that we should be "over it" by now.

But grief doesn't follow a schedule.

Sometimes healing begins with simply showing up, being honest about where you are, and letting someone else walk alongside you.

That's one of the beautiful things about Celebrate Recovery. You don't have to have everything figured out before you walk through the doors.

Come as you are.

πŸ™Œ Celebrate Recovery is for everybody, for every background, every hurt, every struggle, and every person looking for hope and a fresh start.

Most importantly, Jesus meets us in our grief. He isn't afraid of our tears, our questions, or our broken hearts. He stays close when life hurts the most.

✝️ β€œThe LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
β€” Psalm 34:18 (NIV)

πŸ™ Let's pray:

Lord Jesus, we pray for everyone walking through grief and loss today. Be close to the brokenhearted. Bring comfort where there is pain, peace where there is confusion, and hope in the moments that feel overwhelming. Surround those who are hurting with people who will listen, pray, and simply be present. Remind us that we were never meant to carry our burdens alone. Amen. ❀️

πŸ“ You don't have to face your hurts, hang-ups, and habits alone.
