Join us for Vacation Bible School at Rosebud Church, August 17–21 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. daily.

This year’s theme is Road Trip! Through crafts, games, snacks, music, and new friendships, we’ll discover that God loves us and is with us wherever we go.

Get ready for summer with worship led by Camp Kuriakos staff, our annual picnic, and the bike-a-thon this Sunday.

10:30 am - 🔥 Camp Song Worship at the church
NOON - 🌭 Picnic at the Lions Picnic Shelter on Memory Lane
1:00 pm - đźš´ Bike-a-thon on Memory Lane

Please bring a salad or dessert to share. Council will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, and drinks.

If your child is participating in the Bike-a-thon and NOT receiving a campership, please reply to John and Brittany Eicher so that we know how many kids to expect.

Camperships! June 14 Deadline
Standard Nazareth Lutheran Church wants every kid to have the opportunity to go to summer camp. Our Campership program offers full camperships to kids and youth ages 6-18 years from Standard to attend up to 5 nights of camp at Camp Kuriakos on Sylvan Lake.

To participate:

Let us know you are participating in the campership program by emailing [email protected] and telling us your name and which camp you are attending.

Register for camp directly with Camp Kuriakos at kuriakos.ab.ca/programs/summer-camps.

Collect pledges for the bike-a-thon fundraiser on Sunday, June 14th so that we can send more kids to camp. Pick up a pledge form at the church or email to request one.

Have fun at camp!

Eligibility

Families should live in the Standard area or be members of Nazareth Lutheran Church.

All campers are expected to participate in the bike-a-thon on June 14th. If you miss the bike-a-thon this year, we ask that you participate next year to pay it forward.

Applications must be received by June 14, 2026.

NEW! Invite a Friend: Kids and youth who qualify for (1) above may invite one friend from outside of Standard to camp with them, and both can receive a campership. The friend must attend the same camp as the eligible child. If they live nearby, the friend should come to Camp Sunday and the Bike-a-thon, too.
