Instead, join our Day of Action on Memory Lane.
Meet at the Lions Picnic Shelter at 10:30 am, 🌧️rain or shine☀️

Grab your gloves, pruners, w**d pullers, and hammers, and help us clean up around the trees and the camp kitchen. All Ages Welcome: Every hand makes a difference.

10:30 am - Opening Prayer

10:45 am - Work Bee

12:30 pm - Hot Dog Lunch

Refreshments and a hot dog lunch will be provided. Contact Clifford Larsen for details.

In case of 🌧️RAIN 🌧️ we will still meet at the picnic shelter for prayer at 10:30 am, and then we will get done what the God of tempest and whirlwind lets us accomplish.

🌟 **ELCIC Day of Action – May 31, 2026** 🌟

We’re so excited to see the amazing ways our Synod Alberta and the Territories congregations are stepping up for the ELCIC Day of Action! 🎉 So far, **10 congregations** have registered their activities, and we couldn’t be prouder. Way to go, ABT Synod – you are awesome! 💪💛

Here’s a sneak peek at what 10 of our churches are up to – maybe their ideas will spark something for your community.

1️⃣ **Trinity Lutheran Church, Grand Prairie**
- *Hot Dogs for Hope*: Serving hot dogs, donating clothing to the homeless, and sprucing up a local park. 🌭🌳

2️⃣ **Lord of Glory, Lac La Biche**
- Hosting Sunday service at a seniors’ complex, bringing together congregation members and residents. 💒👵

3️⃣ **Holy Trinity Lutheran, Edson**
- Creating birthday party bags for the local food bank. 🎂🎁

4️⃣ **St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Spruce Grove**
- Collecting food items for the local food bank throughout May. 🥫❤️

5️⃣ **Grace Lutheran Church, Wetaskiwin**
- Painting rocks with uplifting messages to share around the community and along walking paths. 🎨💬

6️⃣ **Grace Lutheran Church, Bentley**
- Hosting a monthly neighborhood potluck dinner. 🍲🤝

7️⃣ **First Lutheran Church, Calgary**
- Rolling up their sleeves for a community cleanup. 🧹🌍

8️⃣ **Shepherd of the Hills, Calgary**
- Offering English as a Second Language (ESL) classes in their fellowship hall. 📚🌏

9️⃣ **Nazareth Lutheran Church, Standard**
- Partnering with a local group for a work bee, caring for trees in a nearby park. 🌲💪

🔟 **Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Lethbridge**
- Filling a spring food hamper and spreading joy with spring caroling for homebound members. 🌸🎶
