Given the continuing poor conditions and ongoing road closures, today’s Christmas Day service has been cancelled. This service was to be in-person only, so there will be no livestream available.

Reminder that the funeral service for Ruth Yordy will take place at the church on Wednesday December 28 at 2pm. January 1 worship will be online only, and available at www.sjmc.on.ca or through the St. Jacobs Mennonite Church Youtube channel.

Have a safe and happy Christmas!

Hello everyone,

This afternoon Woolwich Township closed all rural roads for the rest of the day, so this evening’s service will be available by livestream only. Thanks to some local folks in St. Jacobs who are able to put this service on for us. If you live close by and want to walk (or snowshoe!) to the church, the doors will be open. But otherwise, please stay home and watch at www.sjmc.on.ca or by searching St. Jacobs Mennonite Church on Youtube.

Please watch for further communications tonight or tomorrow morning about the status of the Christmas Day service.

Thank you, and Merry Christmas!
