Calvary has a wonderful ‘community’ church feel with a great blend of ages, styles and stages of faith. On a Sunday, you’ll see You’ll see individuals, young families, parents and grandparents mixed together in our informal service. The service carries that same great blend: from upbeat contemporary music to favourite hymns, messages that help you connect your faith to your daily life, and casual time to connect with others. But Sunday morning is just the tip of the iceberg – during the week, there are exciting opportunities - youth group, small groups, bible studies, and much more! You’ll also regularly find opportunities to make a difference in the community and the world.

Our library will be transformed into a special space for prayer, complete with interactive prayer stations, guides, and prompts to help you connect with God.

We invite you to sign up for a time slot(s) as we come together to pray around the clock for an entire week.

Last year, this week created space for many rich and beautiful moments and testimonies! We can’t wait to see what God will do this year!

Practicing the Way - Community - Small Group

We want to lean into authentic, meaningful community. This four-week small group experience explores what it means to become a new kind of family through Jesus,. Each week includes a short video, discussion, and a practical rhythm to help us practice community and grow in connection.

What a beautiful Sunday honouring and celebrating people who reflect Jesus to those around them.

The board took a moment to thank some key leaders and staff who stepped up and carried extra 'weight' this past year after Drew retired. We are so grateful for this church family who lead and served in many ways in this time of transition.

Orville then reminded us of the value of being role models for Jesus to those around us. Not just a minister - all of us! We looked at Philipians and were encouraged to "keep your eyes on those who live as we do..." and ultimately as Jesus does. May we reflect the example of Jesus in our own lives and seek those role models around us who do the same.

A new season is just around the corner at Calvary! Greg Brawn will begin his ministry with us the week of October 20, and we are excited to welcome both Greg and his wife Angie into the Calvary family.

The Transition Team has been intentional about creating a plan that allows Greg to learn, listen, observe and build relationships before stepping fully into his role. We want him to get to know Calvary and our community.
