Blessed morning to all! There is no live sermon today but I want to share these verses as we start the day.

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭NRSV‬‬

“And this is my prayer, that your love may overflow more and more with knowledge and full insight to help you to determine what is best, so that in the day of Christ you may be pure and blameless,”

Paul’s letter to believers in Philippi encourage them to grow in love, that this love overflow with knowledge so we can understand what is the best in our actions, words, and how we deal with others. It’s a love that grows through understanding — understanding God’s Word, His will for us, and the people around us. It’s a love that learns how to navigate real-life situations with grace, truth, and discernment that we might not hurt someone, or hinder them in faith. Paul’s prayer for us is to be pure and blameless, and as we grow in faith, may we desire to be pure and blameless, in everything that we do for ourselves and to other people. Godbless us our day!

From a house worship to this sanctuary, 7 years of God’s faithfulness into our lives and to this church. People will come and go, but this church will always be there, your Home away from Home.

Today marks the longest night of the year (winter solstice) or we could say has the darkest day of the year, but, it is also the beggining of additional sunlight everyday.

Our days might be full of challenges and sorrows, but always remember there is light in the morning.

Often, we don't realize what happens when we skip church. It's important we start seeing the church as something more significant than a place we go to get the religious things we need.
