If you weren't able to join us at the Point last Sunday to celebrate the baptisms of the eight people who share their stories in the church service, you missed out on a special moving of God. Three additional people spontaneously felt God calling them to celebrate Believers Baptism. HOW AWESOME IS THAT!!!

Two more Weeks Everyone (tonight and next week)!! Pizza and Caesar Salad Tonight! Derby Races Next Week see details below:

We are looking forward to the first annual Harrowsmith Pinewood Derby race next Wednesday May 6th 530-730pm.

We will begin the evening with supper together and begin the race around 6:15-6:30pm. It should take about an hour.

I wanted to send out a reminder that all derby cars are due back for weigh- in and registration this Wednesday April 29th. If you are a regular church attendee and will be at church on Sunday May 3rd, I can extend the check in until then, but NO LATER. I need the time to gather the weight info and create a spreadsheet for the different heats. When you hand in your child’s car, please be sure their name is on the bottom either with marker, or tape. This makes it easy to divide cars into their proper age categories and heats.

I will keep all cars in safekeeping until the evening of the race. At the end of the evening, kids can take home the cars to have as a keepsake.

It is important to note that if your child’s car is over 5oz, we will drill a small hole at the bottom to get it as close to 5oz as possible. I weighed a couple of the cars before adding weight and they all came in around 2oz, so you have 3 oz of weight to add, give or take.
