We are SO excited to share about an amazing event coming soon! The 2nd annual GROW AND GATHER is happening SATURDAY, SEPT 19! This a one-day FRESH PRODUCE GIVE-AWAY by our generous and caring NORFOLK COUNTY FARMERS, because of their heart for local residents who live with food security concerns.

Church Out Serving is honoured to be partnering with our farmers and Second Harvest in presenting this opportunity for our neighbours to be blessed with FREE produce from the abundance of Ontario's Garden!

The event is being held at the NORFOLK COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS in the Agricultural Building from 9am to 3pm. Help us to get the word out to anyone you know who would benefit from bags of fresh produce! Pre-registration is offered through the QR link on the poster, or people can just come and register there.

MANY VOLUNTEERS are needed! If this interests you, go to growandgather.ca, click on the "donate" button and "volunteer your time."

If you would like to DONATE to the event financially, please do so by e-transfer to [email protected], and designate your gift to "Grow and Gather".

It promises to be a MASSIVE event with lots of farmers and skids & bins of food! What a beautiful way to celebrate the bounty of our county, our dedicated farmers, and our community's heart! You won't want to miss it!

These amazing artists took some time out to draw their self portraits! Every face in this picture belongs to a kid who is known, loved, and created on purpose by God. ❤
We'd love to add YOUR child's face to the picture! 😊
Join us this Sunday morning at 9:00 AM for Sunday School at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Enter through the parking lot door and head downstairs.
We learn, we create, we laugh, and we discover just how much God loves each one of us!
All children are welcome. Bring a friend!

💛 Help Fill the Care Closet!
The Norfolk Pregnancy & Family Resource Centre exists "to educate, empower and equip those experiencing challenges in pregnancy and parenting through the love of Jesus Christ", and this May, we have a chance to come alongside their important work!
Throughout the month of May, the Lutheran Women Missionary League (LWML) will be coordinating a collection drive for the Centre's Care Closet. Families in our community need your help!
Here's what they're looking for:
🧴 Toiletry items for moms & dads (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant — any size)
🧹 Household cleaning supplies
🫧 Laundry soap (small sizes)
🥫 Pantry/cupboard staples
👶 Diapers — Newborn, Size 5, and Pull-Ups
✉️ Postage stamps
DM to coordinate a drop off if you would like to donate! Donations can be dropped off at the church any Sunday morning during May.
Every item makes a real difference for a local family navigating one of life's most vulnerable seasons.
