We are having another meeting to discuss the possibility of putting in a Columbarium at the cemetery.

June 9th @ 7pm @ the Anglican Church in Shubenacadie across from Ettinger's Home Hardware.

We at Brookside Cemetery are considering a columbarium for anyone that has interest. It is still in the early stages & more investigating has to be done. As we understand it right now we need 12 people to be invested in the idea before we can start the process. If you have a loved one that has been cremated & would like a resting place at our cemetery please reach out to :

CLEAN UP NIGHT!!!
As you all know Brookside Cemetery is run by a few dedicated volunteers. It is at this time of year when things start costing time & money to keep the grounds in top notch shape.

I just want to Thank Each & Everyone that joined us on clean up night last evening!!!
It was the BEST turn out that we have had to date & no one melted.. We got a wee bit soggy but we "Gotter Done"🧹🧹

Hi Folks!!
I guess the weather is not going to cooperate for Clean Up Night! we will NOT be doing clean up tonight May 2nd, as the grounds will be too wet to get the work done. We will try for our rain date: Next Tuesday, May 9th @ 6:30. Hope to still see a good turn out.

We at Brookside Cemetery, 96 Robinson Road, Mill Village, Hants Co. are having our Annual meeting at the Anglican Church in Shubenacadie, Main St. across from Ettinger's Hardware store, on April 25th/2023 at 7:00pm. All are welcome to join us as we discuss future ways to maintain our grounds, new fund raising ideas & listen to our guest speaker on how to obtain a columbarium in the future. If anyone that would like to join our committee this would be a Perfect opportunity to meet & do so!!!
