We are excited to celebrate Indigenous Prayer Sunday on the June 21 (summer solstice) worship service at 10 am

Our Indigenous speaker is Ron-Wayne Hoekstra, a full blood born Kanyen’ keha, Haudenosaunee of the Iroquois Confederacy at Six Nations on the Grand ( Mohawk, People of the Flint)

We will have the Four Directions Prayer and other special Indigenous protocols
Of course bannock and tea/coffee and sweets after the service. Hope to see you there as we continue to deepen our relationship with our Indigenous peoples and extend our education as we have been doing since the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action to the Church. ALL WELCOME!

Sherwood Park United Church is hiring a part-time Bookkeeper to start immediately.
$25.00/hour, 6-7 hours per week
Under the oversight of, and in consultation with the Church Treasurer - prepare cheques related to church expenses, input journal entries into the accounting software, prepare monthly financial reports (balance sheet, income statement), and year-end financial statements.
