Prayer can have four simple steps:
Step 1: Greet God like you would a friend when you start a conversation. Use whatever name for God you feel comfortable using (Jesus, Heavenly Father, Holy Spirit, etc.)
Step 2: Say thank you for all the awesome things in your life.
Step 3: Ask for what you need or want.
Step 4: End your prayer conversation. Some people feel comfortable with silence before saying Amen, others recite scripture or a memorized prayer or other comfortable words.
