Baptist Liberation Day Message

Today, we pause to remember.
We reflect.
And we give thanks.

On this sacred day of Baptist Liberation, we honour the faith, the resilience, and the unwavering courage of those who came before us men and women who, even in the face of oppression, held fast to God.

They were bound physically, but never spiritually.
They were pressed, but never broken.
They were denied freedom, yet they walked in divine purpose.

Their liberation was not only from chains, but into identity.
Into dignity.
Into destiny.

Today, we stand as the fruit of their faith.
Because they prayed, we can worship freely.
Because they endured, we can rise boldly.
Because they believed, we can walk fully in our calling.

Let this day remind us:
Freedom is not just something we celebrate, it is something we steward.

We are called to live liberated lives
Free from fear,
Free from delay,
Free from every limitation that tries to silence the voice of God within us.

As a people of faith, we must continue to build, to lead, and to walk in truth ensuring that the legacy of liberation is not lost, but lived out daily.

Today, we honour the past.
We embrace the present.
And we step boldly into the future God has prepared.

"No more delay. No more shrinking. No more silence."

We are free and whom the Son sets free is free indeed.

Let us walk in it.

The praises of our God shall still
Our hearts and tongues employ.”

Greetings to all Spiritual Baptist Practitioners worldwide;

As you bring the year 2025 to a close, we reflect on a year that has presented both challenges and victories. Yet through it all, it has brought us to where we stand today. This year, I am reminded of the many great soldiers of our Faith who have passed on—those who helped to lay the foundation of the Spiritual Baptist Faith and who continue the work of Almighty God through the legacy they left behind.

As we enter this New Year, it is my solemn hope and prayer that we begin to witness the wondrous works of Almighty God manifested in the lives of His people. The world as we have known it continues to change rapidly, and fear and anxiety have gripped many. In some instances, we have forgotten the promises of Almighty God, for it is written: “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

The need for fervent prayer and spiritual unity among Spiritual Baptists is now more urgent than ever. This is no longer a time to wait for others. The time has come for us to move forward and to fulfill the mandate of our Lord and Saviour—continuing to strengthen the bond of peace and unity within our Spiritual Baptist community.

I pray Agape blessings upon all Spiritual Baptist Practitioners, that the coming year be filled with health, strength, and prosperity. May all that your heart desires for you and your family be granted in the fullness of the abundant grace of Almighty God.

To our Spiritual Leaders of the Faith worldwide, may you continue to be guided by the Holy Spirit as you lead God’s people through these turbulent times. May you be granted the endurance to withstand the darts of those who seek to discourage or oppose you. To all Bishops, Pastors, Mothers, Leaders, and Elders of this Faith, my exhortation to you is this: be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
