Date Change

We’re excited to invite you to our FIRE Weekend, September 18–19!
Please note the date change: Due to the Catch The Fire Conference, FIRE Weekend has been moved from September 25–26 to September 18–19. We apologize for the change and appreciate your understanding.
This is an important weekend for us as we dive into one of our core values: Restoration of the Heart. We’ll explore areas where God desires to bring healing and freedom.
We encourage you to make this weekend a priority if you’re able to.

On July 5, we’re taking church outside the walls as Lawrence Ave (right in front of our church) hosts the Taste of Lawrence festival.

We’ll meet at 10:00 AM in front of the church building to reach our community together.

Please note there will be limited access and parking—please plan to park on nearby residential streets.

Join us this weekend as we focus on the I in our core F.I.R.E. value.

This is a time for intentional equipping — a moment to be strengthened, encouraged, and built up in faith as we grow deeper in intimacy with God and learn to walk closely with Him in everyday life.

As we do, His voice becomes clearer and more personal in our lives. We are believing for a time of encounter that brings clarity, healing, and a fresh hunger for God.

F.I.R.E. stands for:
• F — Father’s Love revealed through Jesus
• I — Intimacy, Presence, and Hearing God’s Voice
• R — Restoration of the heart and soul
• E — Extending the Kingdom through the equipping, empowering, and anointing of the Holy Spirit

We pray that as you come expectant, you would encounter His transforming presence.

Colossians 2:13–15

The legal record that stood against us and condemned us
was nailed to the cross and canceled.

Jesus disarmed the powers and authorities
and triumphed over them by the cross.

Because of the cross, the way back into relationship with God is restored.

The disciples on the road to Emmaus first only had knowledge of what happened.
Everything changed when they invited Jesus to stay.

He sat with them.
He took bread.
He gave thanks.
He broke it.

And in that moment —
their eyes were opened.

They moved from knowledge to experience.
From disappointment to revelation.
From distance to intimacy.

The cross removed what was condemning us
so we can respond to Jesus’ invitation to sit with Him and know Him.

Action Steps:

1. Read Colossians 2:13–15 aloud and slowly.
2. Ask yourself: What stands out to you when you hear this passage?
3.Write it down and soak on it for 10 minutes, allowing Jesus to reveal Himself.
