Bible Lesson: Why We Trust The Bible
Recap 📖✨
Today we explored the big question:
Why should we trust the Bible?
Our big idea was:
We can trust the Bible because it is God’s true and perfect Word.
Together, we learned from 2 Timothy 3:16 (ESV):
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.”
We discovered that God is the Author of the whole Bible! From the Old Testament to the New Testament, His Word teaches us who He is, helps us trust His promises, guides us in making wise choices, and shows us how to live for His glory.
The LightKidz had a wonderful time participating in games that helped bring today’s lesson to life, helping them remember that the Bible is trustworthy and true. We also enjoyed our small-group time with snacks and chatting, where the children shared their thoughts, asked questions, and encouraged one another as they learned more about God’s Word.
Thank you for allowing us to partner with you in helping your children grow in their faith. We encourage families to continue the conversation at home by asking:
💬 Why can we trust the Bible?
💬 What does it mean that the Bible is “God-breathed”?
💬 What is something you learned about God from the Bible today?
We look forward to seeing everyone next week! ❤️📖🙏
