ICYMI, last week we looked at 2 Kings 18. It is a story about threats and intimidation. We read the story and heard the voice of anxiety with its twisted truths and deception that attempts to keep us from life as God intended. So, we must examine our thoughts with discernment.

ICYMI, we looked at the ironic enthronement this morning. A crown of thorns and the mocking homage are not a great coronation. But God saw it all and vindicated Jesus by raising Him and giving to Him the name above all names.

ICYMI, this morning we explored the mocking statement, "He saved others but he cannot save himself." With the help of Isaiah 53, it became clear that, in fact, Jesus saved others BY not saving Himself.

ICYMI, this morning we had a conversation about all the ways that Jesus suffered as he went to the cross. His suffering makes him merciful and faithful representative for us so that we can draw near to God.
