Very busy day once again getting donations ready for tomorrow, may 6th - 10-1 . I had to leave quickly to catch a school bus as I’m looking after my grandkids for a week. Therefore, no pictures this week - will be a surprise for everyone tomorrow! We did receive some lovely donations this week. Clothing racks and tables full with new clothing.
Due the volume of clothing donations today we cannot accept any more clothing this week.
We have a church member looking to sell a like new recliner lazyboy chair and a good condition bed (bed reclines top and bottom). If you are interested, I can pass information on to you. This sale is between yourself and the seller not the thrift shop.
NEW CHANGE
Our thrift shop has grown so quickly the last year. This is mainly due to support from our community in regard to donations and a dedicated volunteer team. Our team also appreciates the social exchange each week from our shoppers - makes our weekly work so worth while.
We wish to make a change in our hours in order to make the tasks of our volunteers a bit easier and allow more time for catch-up of donations.
We will try this new schedule and hopefully maintain consistency in regard to donation drop-off.
Monday - staff at church are off - NO DONATIONS
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 9 to noon DONATION DROP-OFF
(Glass door off Albert st.)
Friday - NO DONATIONS - serve as a catch-up day.
If these times conflict with your work schedule, please contact me via pm
Please try not to use heavy large bags and boxes - we are getting boxes and bags way too heavy. We have stairs to deal with and many bags are moved numerous times.
Please pass along this information.
Thank you for supporting and understanding this change.
Giving this a try to see how it goes.
Hugs
