We are wrapping up our Becoming Mature series this Sunday, and we are saving one of the most important marks of a healthy disciple for last: helping others grow in their own walk with Jesus.

Pastor Brad Berkan will be taking us to Matthew 28, where Jesus gives His followers a command that is more layered and rich than we might realize. What if this familiar passage has been saying something more to us all along?

If you have ever wondered how you personally fit into the mission of making disciples, this Sunday is for you. Join us as we explore what it truly looks like to invest in the spiritual growth of those around us.

We hope to see you there.

What does it mean to be part of God's mission? This Sunday, we continue our Becoming Mature series by exploring one of the most powerful marks of a healthy disciple: engaging in the mission of God.

In 2 Corinthians 5:17-19, we are reminded that in Christ, we are new creations, and with that new life comes an incredible calling. God has not only reconciled us to Himself through Christ, He has entrusted us with the ministry of reconciliation. That is not a small thing.

Join us this Sunday, October 11th, as we unpack what it looks like to live out that calling together. Services are at 8:30, 10:00, and 11:30 AM in person, or worship with us online at ebenezerbaptist.ca.

We would love to see you there.

What does it mean to truly walk in the ways of Jesus? This Sunday, we continue our series "Becoming Mature" by exploring the third mark of a mature disciple — and it goes deeper than simply keeping His commands.

Psalm 128:1 reminds us that there is a profound blessing connected to walking in God's ways. The early followers of Jesus were not even called Christians at first — they were called followers of "the Way." That is a powerful distinction worth exploring.

Join us this Sunday as we unpack what it truly means to live as someone who walks in the ways of Jesus, and come with a heart ready to take those steps. This is not just head knowledge — it is a call to action.

And stick around after service! 👀 We’re having a Ministry Fair in the Chapel after each service, where you can check out the different ministries happening at our church, meet some of the people involved, and find a place to serve and plug in.

Come worship. Come connect. Come find your place. ⛪️💛

See you Sunday!

Who is God -- really? Not the version shaped by secondhand stories or life experiences, but the God revealed in His own Word. This Sunday at Ebenezer, we are continuing our series Becoming Mature with a message on the character of God.

As disciples, we are called to immerse ourselves in Scripture so that our understanding of who God is comes from truth, not assumption. When we let life's circumstances define God for us, our view of Him can become distorted. But when we go to His Word, we find Him as He truly is.

Join us this Sunday and take a step deeper into knowing God -- not just knowing about Him.
