At All Hearts Parish summer has a different rhythm. We take our time. We make some extra space.

That's why over the next couple of months we’ll be gathering every second Sunday as many of our folks travel, camp, visit family, and make the most of a Saskatchewan summer.

Our summer gatherings will be:

• August 16 (off-site gathering at Blackstrap Provincial Park)
• August 30

Then we’ll return to our weekly rhythm beginning Sunday, September 6.

Whether you’ve been with us for years or you’re simply looking for a place to explore faith and community, we’d love to have you join us this summer.

A few folks from All Hearts Parish spent part of today walking in Saskatoon’s Rock Your Roots Walk for Reconciliation.

One of the things we appreciate about events like this is that they remind us that reconciliation is not just an idea. It happens in real places, with real people. Showing up matters. Plus it is always a great thing to walk alongside your neighbours.

We were grateful for the organizers and volunteers that make it all happen. It just keeps getting better and better every year.

The Slow Down Summer Potluck

At All Hearts we slow down for the summer months. By the end of June we go to having our Worship Palette every other week. Why? Because we want to make room. That's what sabbath is all about. We want to make room for the Saskatchewan summer to take its sweet sweet time. Time to linger on the back deck with friends a little longer. Time to take a hike and get little further down the trail. Time to finally meetup with friends you've been meaning to connect with for so long. Time to meet God and each other in new ways.

In celebration, we are hosting a potluck this Sunday called "The Slow Down Summer Potluck."

Think food that either takes time or makes time. Bring simple summer dishes or things you might throw in the crockpot and let them simmer. Think food you would eat if no one was rushing you. Nothing fussy. Nothing that requires a performance. Just food that let's you linger a little longer.
