Today, we join Christians around the world in observance of Ash Wednesday.

“By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” (Genesis 3:19)

Though our lives on earth are temporary, we have eternal life in the one who died for us.

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent: a season pillared by prayer, fasting, and almsgiving leading up to Easter. Whoever you are, and wherever you are in your faith journey, you are in our prayers this Lent.

Our Blue Christmas service will be at 7 pm at St George's Anglican Church today ... All are welcome bring whatever blues you have we will pray together, sing together; have some hot chocolate and cider together. Let the light shine.
