God disciplines us out of His love — to see the sincerity of our obedience, accomplish His purpose, equip us, and refine us. It will not always be easy, but we ought to embrace every sifting, screening, and shaping, knowing that God allows them for our good and to set us apart for His glory.

The joy of knowing that God disciplines us is because we are His children. As we live life may we live it with purpose, disciplining ourselves everyday for God’s glory. As everyday is a new day to see and to experience what God has for us when we obey His perfect will.

If we want to live in the will of God we need to make room for God’s presence to move in our lives, because we know His will is better than anything we could ever do on our own. When we realize holding on to this world will leave no room to hold on the blessings God has for us, the only option is to let go.

A good father disciplines the children he loves and wants what is best for them. A proper father knows that if he doesn't correct his children, then he is letting them grow up wrong. Our God, the Father, is no exception. So when the rebuke comes, be glad, because that means God, your Father, still cares for you.
