A Note from Pastor Rudy:
Greetings all!
Yet another snow fall warning!
Out of an abundance of caution, and the old principle "better to be safe, rather than sorry" our worship service at Faith scheduled for Sunday, November 24 has been cancelled. As well, we noted that both our Saskatoon sister churches , St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Grace Lutheran Church , cancelled their services for tomorrow morning earlier today.
May I ask you to please contact those who attend with you to ensure everyone knows the service tomorrow morning is cancelled? Not everyone checks their emails regularly and a phone call will ensure that we try, as much as possible, to ensure everyone knows.
If you know someone who does not have access to the internet, may we ask you to phone them to let them know as well?
Thank you!
You can read the newly revised (as of 4:38 AM CST Sunday 24 November 2024) snowfall warning below or see the original posting here.
Snowfall Warning in effect for:
City of Saskatoon
A low pressure system over northern Montana will continue to spread a large area of accumulating snow across most of southern Saskatchewan Sunday.
For western areas, this accumulating snow will taper off Sunday morning. For east-central areas of the province, the heavy snow will linger into Sunday evening.
Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Take frequent breaks and avoid strain when clearing snow.
Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
