Urgent Community Appeal: Support for Repatriation of Our Young Hindu Brother

HINDU SOCIETY OF SASKATCHEWAN & SASKATOON MALAYALEE ASSOCIATION

Dear HSS Community Members,
With profound sorrow, we inform you that a 27-year-old member of our Indian Hindu community tragically lost his life in a bear attack in northern Saskatchewan. He had come to Canada with hopes of building a brighter future for his family.
The family has requested privacy at this time. We kindly ask everyone to refrain from sharing his name or photo until they consent.

Community volunteers, along with his brother who has arrived in Saskatoon, have been working hard to manage arrangements. While significant progress has been made, an urgent funeral home expense of $7,308 CAD must be paid before Friday to complete the repatriation to India without delay.
