Happy Sabbath! Welcome to Week 3 in our "How to Witness" Series:
When God sends you somewhere, it may be more than a place; it may be a calling.
We often think calling has to sound big, dramatic, or far away. But sometimes calling looks much more ordinary than that. Sometimes it looks like the neighborhood you live in, the workplace you return to, the school you attend, the coffee shop you frequent, the walking route you take, or the place where you serve each week. These places may seem routine to us, but they are not outside the care or purpose of God. He often sends us into real places, with real people, in the middle of real life. And if we are paying attention, we may discover that what felt ordinary is actually holy ground. What felt incidental is actually intentional. What felt like “just where I am” may be one of the very places where Jesus is inviting me to carry His peace, His presence, and His love.

Before we speak to people about Jesus, we learn to be present with people like Jesus.
Jesus was never hurried, careless, or disconnected from the people in front of Him. He noticed. He listened. He cared deeply. He met people in the truth of their lives. If we want to share Him well, we begin by learning His way: being present, peaceful, attentive, and full of grace.

Witness begins when we stop drifting and start staying.
There is something powerful about becoming a regular in a place. Showing up consistently. Learning names. Noticing people. Caring enough to remain. Deep witness rarely grows out of rushing through life. It often grows when we stop drifting past people and start staying long enough to love them well.

The mission field may already be built into your weekly routine.
The places you go every week are not random. Your neighborhood, your workplace, your coffee shop, your walking route, your kids’ activities, the store you always visit — these ordinary spaces may already be part of God’s invitation. Sometimes the first step in witness is simply recognizing that where you already are matters to Him.

Week 2 of our "How to Witness" Series
Go with peace. Stay with purpose. Love with presence.
Jesus does not send us to rush in, impress people, or force outcomes. He sends us to carry His peace into real places, remain long enough to know people well, and love in a way that is steady, attentive, and real. Sometimes the most powerful witness is not louder words, but a life that quietly makes room for the presence of God.

Week 2 of our "How to Witness" Series
You do not have to force a moment; just be faithful where you are.
So much of witness is not about creating something dramatic. It is about showing up with peace, paying attention, loving people well, and trusting that God is already at work in the ordinary places of your life. Faithfulness in your place matters more than pressure in the moment.

Week 2 in our "How to Witness Series. Find your place. God is already at work there.
You may not need a new platform, a perfect plan, or a big moment. You may simply need eyes to see where Jesus has already placed you : your neighborhood, your workplace, your regular routines, your ordinary spaces. The first step in witness is often not going farther, but becoming more present right where you are.

Week 1 in our "How to Witness" Series.
“Lord, help me lean in and become present to Your presence.
Slow me down enough to notice where You are already at work.
Teach me to stay, to listen, and to love well in the places You have already given me.”

❤️ Blessing Bags in Action ❤️
A couple of weeks ago, a wonderful group of ladies from Living Hope gathered together to assemble Blessing Bags for our community. It was such a meaningful time of serving side by side with generous hearts.

Because of their kindness and willingness to help, 100 people have now been blessed through the Mustard Seed with these bags.

Each one was prepared with care and prayer, and we are so grateful for the women who gave their time to make this possible. Small acts of love can make a big difference.
Thank you to everyone who helped!

We’re looking forward to serving together again on Serve Sabbath, March 28. It’s going to be another beautiful opportunity to care for our community.

🎨 Young Adults Paint Night 🎨

What a fun evening with our Living Hope young adults!

Paint, snacks, laughter, and a room full of creativity made for a really special night together. Everyone brought their own style to the canvas, and it was amazing to see how different every painting turned out.

But more than the art, it was the community that made the night so meaningful - time to slow down, connect, encourage one another, and just enjoy being together.

Church family matters, and nights like this remind us that faith grows best in community.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the evening so joyful. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
