Feb 22, 2026: Sunday of Orthodoxy. First Sunday of Lent and blessing of icons and a procession around the church.

We also prayed for peace in Ukraine on the 4th year of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine.

✝️ February 1st, we welcomed the participants of the Eparchial Diaconate training program held every two years. Keep these five men in your prayers.

👬 On this Sunday of the Prodigal Son it was special that two brothers, Fr Ivan Nahachewsky and Deacon Thomas Nahachewsky together read the Gospel.

🕯️ We also observed the Presentation of Our Lord - Stritennia (Feb 2) - with blessing of candles. We are invited to light these candles to bring warmth and the Light of the Lord into our home.
