Good Afternoon,

As a church, we rejoice together, and we also grieve together. Today we want to ask you to join us in praying for two families who are walking through the difficult journey of loss.

On Sunday morning, Rich Hutchings passed away. Please keep his brother, Jim, in your prayers as we all mourn together. We will share Rich’s obituary as soon as it becomes available. At this time, the funeral service is planned for Friday, July 17, at 2:00 PM here at New Horizons Community Church, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM.

We also learned this morning that Lynn Brown’s father, Randy, has passed away. Please lift up Lynn, John, and their entire family as they grieve the loss of a beloved father and loved one.

Would you take a few moments today to pray for these families? Pray for God’s peace that surpasses understanding, His comforting presence, and the strength that only He can provide in seasons of sorrow.

Tomorrow at New Horizons Community Church!

Summer Sundays are just better together.

Join us tomorrow as we continue our Made For Adventure series, exploring what it looks like to follow Jesus in the everyday adventures of life. Whether you've been with us every week or it's been a while, there's a place for you.

We're also excited to welcome Sparrow Home, who will be sharing a glimpse of the incredible work they're doing in our community and the hope they bring to women and families.

We're gathering for Fries Under the Bridge. Grab fries (or lunch) from your favourite spot, bring a lawn chair or blanket, and join us under the Blue Water Bridge for good food, great conversation, and a relaxed afternoon together.

This Sunday at New Horizons!!!

We’re looking forward to another great Sunday together as we continue our Set Apart series with Week 2, exploring what it means to live a life marked by God’s holiness in our everyday world.

This week we’ll also take some time during the service to get to know Pastor Shay Zollinger, our new Assistant Pastor of Youth & Young Adults. Shay officially begins in July, but we’re excited to help our church family learn a little more about her heart, her story, and her passion for ministry.

Looking ahead, don’t forget about our New Horizons Block Party on Saturday, June 13. It’s going to be a fun afternoon for all ages and a great opportunity to connect with our neighbourhood. Then on Sunday, June 14, we’re excited to welcome Martin Brothers Collective as they stay over to lead us in worship during our morning service.

As a church, we also have the opportunity once again to support families at London Road Public School this summer through grocery baskets. These baskets help provide practical encouragement to local families during the summer months when school-based supports are limited. The sign up will be in the lobby this Sunday.

Whether you’ve been part of New Horizons for years or are just checking things out, we’d love to see you this Sunday at 10:30 AM. Coffee is on at 10:00!
