“Owe nothing to anyone, except to love one another.”
(Romans 13:8)

This Sunday’s readings remind us that our faith is not meant to be lived alone. Christ is present when we gather in His name, and He calls us to make that presence visible through the way we love and care for one another.

In our homes, our friendships, and throughout our Sarnia Catholic Family of Parishes, may we recognize Christ in one another and choose each day to love with patience, compassion, and grace. 🙏🤍

Wishing all of our families a blessed week ahead. We look forward to praying with you this Sunday.

Please join us for a Mass for Our Lady of Sorrows on Thursday, September 10 at 12:10pm at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Sarnia.

Since 2016, the Diocese of London has observed the Memorial of our Lady of Sorrows as a day of prayer and reparation for victims/survivors of clerical sexual abuse.
These annual Masses have become an important part of the healing that continues in our Diocese.
Many victims have expressed thanks for this prayerful support.
It is a wonderful way by which we are united – at the foot of the Cross, as it were – as a Diocesan family in one great moment of prayer and reparation.
It is also a way by which we demonstrate our determination to be watchful and vigilant, and to eliminate all abuse.

In February, we shared Colleen’s testimony about her experience with Alpha. This past spring, she joined Alpha again. At the end of the session, she shared an update on how God has continued to work in her life since her first testimony ❤️

If you’ve ever wondered what Alpha can do, take a few minutes to hear Colleen’s story and discover what God might be inviting you into.

The Fall Alpha session begins September 14 at 6:30pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1465 Lecaron Ave, Sarnia).

Faith, fellowship, and plenty of s’mores! 🔥

Here’s a look back at Firepit Friday at The Loft on August 21! Families gathered for an evening of music, games, good food, conversation, prayer, and time together around the fire.

From the glow-stick prayer garden to discovering how the ingredients of a s’more can remind us of Jesus, the evening was filled with meaningful moments and lots of fun.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to all who helped make the evening possible! 🤍

"My soul thirsts for you, O Lord my God." (Psalm 63:1)

The deepest desire of the human heart is for God. Everything else finds its meaning in Him.

✝️ Feast of the Passion of St. John the Baptist ✝️

Today we remember the martyrdom of St. John the Baptist, the greatest of the prophets, who boldly proclaimed the coming of Christ and called all to repentance.
His unwavering courage, even in the face of imprisonment and death, reminds us to stand firm in truth and faith. St. John’s life points us to Jesus, the Lamb of God, whose path he prepared.

St. John the Baptist, pray for us.
