📖✨ Today we celebrate the feast of Saint Anthony of Padua

Known for his powerful preaching, deep knowledge of Scripture, and love for the poor, St. Anthony dedicated his life to leading others closer to Christ. He is also widely known as the patron saint of lost things, reminding us that God lovingly seeks out all who feel lost, forgotten, or far from Him.

May we follow his example of faith, humility, and trust in God’s providence.

Happy Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus! ❤️✝️

🙏🏼 O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of Mercy for us, I trust in You.

🎉 In the Catholic Church, the entire month of June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, although today is the official Feast day of the Sacred Heart.

The Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary always falls the day after the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and though not liturgically venerated in the Church, private devotion to the Most Chaste Heart of St Joseph is celebrate on the Wednesday following.

🌲💙 What a weekend 💙🌲

The rain mostly held off, the sun peeked through when we needed it, and the energy that everyone brought to Muskoka Woods was incredible to witness. From exciting challenges and camp activities to prayer, worship, and friendship, it was a weekend filled with moments that will be remembered for years to come.

A heartfelt thank you to Fr. Rob Renaud for joining us throughout the weekend and celebrating Mass on Pentecost Sunday. Thank you to our amazing high school leaders, who spent time preparing and training before camp and then led our Grade 7s with enthusiasm, kindness, and faith. To the parents, thank you for entrusting us with your children. And to our dedicated chaperones - your countless hours of planning, organizing, encouraging, and supporting made this experience possible. Your commitment to our young people is a true gift.

Finally, thank you to our parish community. Whether you supported this trip through prayer, purchased PastaFest tickets, contributed through service groups, or found another way to help, this weekend happened because of your generosity. We are so grateful for the spiritual and financial support that allowed these young people to encounter Christ, grow in leadership, and build lasting friendships.

Come, Holy Spirit 🔥🕊️

Over Pentecost weekend, parishioners gathered for our Pentecost Retreat: The Holy Spirit & I - an evening of prayer, reflection, and encounter with the Lord. Through the Rosary, Eucharistic Adoration, moments of silence, meditative music, and a reflection on the Holy Spirit, we opened our hearts to God's presence and listened for His voice.

As we celebrated Pentecost, we were reminded that the Holy Spirit continues to guide, strengthen, and renew the Church today.

Living Spirit, Holy Fire, burning bright to light our way, blaze among us and inspire lives that praise you day by day. 🙏
