Most people think St. Patrick’s Day is about green beer, luck, and shamrocks.

But the real story is a lot deeper.

Patrick was captured as a teenager and taken to Ireland as a slave. In that place of isolation and hardship, he turned to God and his faith grew stronger.

Years later, after escaping and returning home, he felt called to go back to the very land where he had been enslaved… not for revenge, but to share the good news of Jesus Christ.

That’s what we’re actually remembering today.

The enemy wants your mind stuck in “what if.” What if things go wrong… What if it doesn’t work out… What if you fail… But God calls us to live in right now. Right now there is breath in your lungs. Right now there is grace for this moment. Right now God is still in control. Don’t let fear steal the peace God already gave you today. ❤️
