Four motets on deck for this coming Sunday! The Crowning of Our Lady with the Arcadelt Ave Maria and to honour her, the Aichinger Regina Caeli bookending. We'll throw in a little Viadana and Lassus for good measure. Doing some research, it seems that The Strife Is O'er is actually adapted from the Gloria Patri.. of the Magnificat octo tonum, Liber 1 by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina

It has just been announced that Bishop Miehm of Peterborough will succeed Bishop Fabbro as the 11th Bishop of the Diocese of London. Let us pray in thanksgiving for Bishop Fabbro and for the successful transition of Bp. Miehm to our diocese.
