They arrived in Saint John in 1925 and began to preach the Gospel. They held services at various sites throughout the city and finally settled at 131 Charlotte Street. The building was filled with people every night, and many gathered outside to hear them sing the hymns of the church and the Gospel songs of revival. Many of the young men who heard the good news of the Full Gospel became pastors an
d established thriving assemblies in other areas. The Congregation in Saint John grew so much that alternate premises; "The Capital Theater" on King's Square was purchased in 1958. In 1984 the building on King's Square was sold and we proceeded to purchase land and build our present facility at 34 Mount Pleasant Avenue East. In 1982 Pastor Lindsey and his wife Pastor Bonnie came to Full Gospel Assembly to assist the then present Senior Pastor; Richard Wright, and in 1986 upon Pastor Richard resignation Pastor Burt became the Senior Pastor of the church.
