Congratluations Dustin!

Meet Dustin McKee, one of our 2025 scholarship recipients and future N.B. doctor!

Hometown: Willow Grove, New Brunswick

Attending: Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick, Class of 2027

Dustin is a third-year medical student attending Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick. He holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biology and Chemistry from the University of New Brunswick. Upon graduation he hopes to begin a residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

Dustin is a strong leader in the DMNB community as the recently appointed National Communication Officer for the Canadian Federation of Medical Students (CFMS) and a member of both the CFMS Research in Medicine Task Force and Bilingualism Committee. He also devotes his time to his community through participating in events for residents at Loch Lomond Villa and volunteering with the DMNB Kids Run Club.

“Medicine, for me, is not about status or prestige. It is about showing up for people when they need it most, just like the physicians who showed up for my family. It is about being steady, honest, and kind when everything feels uncertain.”

We’re proud to support the next generation of healthcare providers in New Brunswick!

Your gifts empower students like Dustin with much-needed tuition relief and have a lasting impact on the patients and communities that benefit from their care in the decades to come. For more information or to make a donation, visit https://loom.ly/73-MBPY.
