Have you stopped by Bible Study yet?

NO! You don't have to speak out loud unless comfortable.
NO! You don't have to bring your own Bible - it helps, but Pastor Mark has a few he can lend ;)
YES! Bible Study is an hour long.
YES! There is coffee and tea!
YES! There is prayer!

Swing by as we continue our journey into 1 Peter, where Peter is basically writing to Christians who are having a rough go of it and saying, “Yes, life is hard, but don’t forget what you’ve got.” You’ve been given a brand-new life through Jesus, a living hope, and an inheritance that can’t rot, fade, break, or mysteriously disappear like your good scissors.

The trials you’re going through aren’t meaningless. Peter says they can actually refine your faith like gold in a fire. The struggle is temporary, but what God is doing in you has eternal value. And even though these believers had never physically seen Jesus, they loved Him and trusted Him anyway.

Peter also reminds them that this salvation is a really big deal. The Old Testament prophets were looking ahead, trying to understand when and how God’s rescue plan would unfold. In other words, they were getting the movie trailers, but we get to see the story.

So join us every Wednesday you can at 2pm or 6pm or both!
