Something new is beginning at the Cathedral this fall!
Discipleship was never meant to be something we do alone. We need spaces where we can build real friendships, pray together, talk honestly about faith and life, and encourage one another as we learn to follow Jesus more deeply.

That’s the vision behind Life Groups at the Cathedral.

On September 21 from 6–9 PM, we’re hosting a Life Groups Information Night at the Cathedral Rectory. We’ll share the vision, experience a little of what a Life Group can be like, and talk about how these groups will take shape.

There’s no commitment required and Life Groups don't have to be on Mondays. Come, hear the vision, pray with us, and discern whether a Life Group might be a next step for you — whether as a participant, a host, or perhaps someone called to help lead.

RCIA BEGINS SEPTEMBER 16: Thinking About Becoming Catholic? Have you ever wondered about the Catholic faith or felt called to learn more about the Church? RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a welcoming journey for anyone interested in exploring the Catholic faith, asking questions, and growing closer to Christ. Join us on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m., beginning September 16, at the Cathedral Rectory, 91 Waterloo Street. Come and see! All are welcome.

📚 Religious Education Registration Opens Soon!

Registration for our Religious Education program begins August 30th and continues until September 13th, 2026. We invite all families to register and join us for a year of faith, learning, and community.

All families registered are asked to join the Orientation Day on Sunday, October 4th at the Cathedral Rectory at 11:15AM.

MONTHLY MASS WITH PRAYERS FOR HEALING – The date for the next Mass with Prayers for Healing is this coming Thursday, July 16, at 7:00 pm at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
All who would like to receive prayer for any illness be it physical, emotional and spiritual are welcomed. The Sacrament of Reconciliation and Prayer Ministry will be available.

This will be a Dedication Mass in honor of the 141st anniversary of the dedication of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.

This Thursday June 16 marks the 141st Anniversary of the Dedication of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception; celebrated across the diocese as a Feast, and within the Cathedral community as a Solemnity.

To celebrate and deepen appreciation for our mother church, Bishop Riesbeck will celebrate the noon Mass.

In addition, a ~30 minute tour of the Cathedral will be available at 11:00am for a free will offering.

Come and celebrate with us as we give thanks to God for the gift of our mother church in the Diocese of Saint John!
