At H.O.P.E., community means showing up for one another with dignity, compassion, and consistency. Through food support, outreach programs, and partnerships with local schools, parishes, businesses, volunteers, and organizations across the South Shore, H.O.P.E. works every day to ensure that fewer individuals and families feel alone during difficult times. Their mission is simple but powerful: neighbours helping neighbours, while building something even greater than support — building hope.
Today, our secondary, I.B Group 91 had the pleasure of hearing Tammy Labrecque speak about her organization, the importance of helping others, and the incredible impact small acts of kindness can have within a community. Students also learned how their mason jar project will help support so many people in need, reminding us all that even simple initiatives can make a meaningful difference.
A heartfelt thank you to Tammy and everyone at H.O.P.E. for the inspiring work they continue to do for our community. 💙
