Do you want peace in Ukraine?
As a Christian in a historic “peace church” do you feel the urgency to do something? Are you nevertheless feeling powerless?

Grace Mennonite Church in St. Catharines (677 Niagara Street) invites you to join other Niagara historic peace churches—UM, MB, BIC, and Quaker—on Saturday May 6th at 2:00 p.m. in the church hall to hear a catalyst talk from Ernie Regehr, Co-Founder and former Executive Director of Project Ploughshares, Officer of the Order of Canada, Pearson Peace Medal laureate, and Research Fellow at the Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies at Conrad Grebel University College.

The topic will be “War in Ukraine: When Peace Cannot be Won on the Battlefield.”

Oct 28 event has been cancelled

It became clear that there were three consecutive events which involved many of the same people and therefore we will postpone the speaker we had planned for this month

The next event for peace of cake is Nov 25

7pm at Westview with Caleb Ratzlaff speaking the relevance of Marxist ideas for today
