Novena to Our Lady of Good Counsel - April 17 – 26

Join us in prayer as we begin the Novena to Our Lady of Good Counsel, asking her guidance for our lives and our League.

As you pray this novena, you are encouraged to bring your own personal intention each day; something close to your heart that you wish to place in Our Lady’s care.

Each day, a suggested intention will also be shared, so that together we may pray in a spirit of unity for the needs of our families, our parish, and our world.

Through her gentle counsel, may we be guided in wisdom, faith, and trust.

Day 1 - April 17
We begin the novena, turning to Mary with trust as countless faithful have done through the centuries. She gently invites us to place our needs at her feet.

Reflection: Where in your life right now are you seeking clarity, peace, or direction?

Suggested intention: You may wish to place your greatest need or uncertainty into Our Lady’s care today, asking for her guidance and peace.

Holy Week is a very busy time for our priests. All our masses and services are imbedded with great significance and important elements. Our priests need to prepare for all of the details and the what ifs as he blesses the fire, the water of baptism and uses the new oils tonight on the catechumens. For that reason our CWL leads the stations of the Cross on Good Friday. These men like Jesus need to go to the well to be refreshed. Thank you father for joining us last night. I could hear you singing. We pray for you today and always

Our altar was thoughtfully staged for Holy Thursday's celebration of the Last Supper and foot washing. Today at 1 pm (Holy Saturday) Father Richard will bless your Easter foods.
