🙏 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀

As of September 2 2026, the Wednesday morning Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. instead of 8:00 a.m.

This is to give the school children the opportunity to come to Mass.

💙 Help Our Children Grow in Faith

As our Children's Liturgy program takes a break for the summer, we're already looking ahead to the fall—and we need your help.
We're looking for caring, compassionate volunteers who would like to share their faith and help our youngest parishioners learn about Jesus in a welcoming and engaging environment.

You don't need to be an expert—just someone with a willing heart and a desire to make a difference.

Serving in Children's Liturgy is a wonderful opportunity to support our parish while helping children grow closer to Christ. And along the way, you'll likely discover that their joy and enthusiasm strengthen your own faith as well.

❤️ 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗢𝗚𝗘𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗜𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗠𝗢𝗦𝗧

On Saturday, August 22, St. Alfred’s was proud to host a Giant Food & Household Goods Giveaway to support our North St. Catharines neighbours affected by the recent flooding.

Thanks to an incredible community effort, approximately 700 people were served throughout the day.

Volunteers from the St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank at St. Alfred’s worked alongside volunteers from numerous community agencies to distribute much-needed food and household goods to families recovering from flood losses.

A heartfelt thank you to DSMAH Children’s Charity, CityServe, Open Arms Mission and everyone who donated, volunteered and helped make this Disaster Recovery event possible.

When our neighbours are hurting, we come together. ❤️

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who gave their time, their hands and their hearts to help.

This is community. This is faith in action.
